I moved to Vancouver Island 3.5 years ago and was not able to find a family doctor accepting new patients anywhere on the Saanich Peninsula or in the Greater Victoria area. After moving to Tofino, I was very excited to find several doctors accepting new patients. Dr. Yagos is the newest member of the Tonquin Medical Clinic. During my appointment she gave recommendations and answered all of the questions that I had brought her. I only waited about 10-15 minutes max in the waiting room and I never felt rushed during the appointment. I would recommend Dr. Yagos if you are looking for a nice & knowledgeable family doctor in Tofino.
