Out of sight out of mind indeed. Wells is a terrible doctor. With her one has to wait and wait to be gotten back to. She scheduled my surgery date tentatively and for a month I heard nothing back, when you try calling to get confirmation you just get tossed back and forth. I was so frustrated the week before the date that I called everyday, was finally told she had not submitted her list yet on Thursday for surgery scheduled supposedly on the next Tuesday. On the day before the surgery we finally got a call from a nurse with post surgery prep instructions. After surgery I never saw her again, again I had to call and call for my pathology report, then again for my routine 6 week post op check. She couldn’t even show up for that instead fobbed me of on a retired volunteer gynae who didn’t even know what surgery I had done. There was an error on the pathology and a new discovery which when we finally got to talk to Wells she brushed off. Worst doctor ever, she is only interested in cutting people up and finding cancer. She said herself because I was benign she didn’t have time for me anymore. I hope one day the treatment she has given me gets given back to her. Worst doctor and person ever, if she can’t deal with the human side of medicine then she should just stay in the theatre and not speak to patients.

Dr. Wells is the most caring compassionate beautiful doctor out there. She goes above and beyond in every area!!!

I've never been so keen on Doctors.. But Doctor Wells is such a wonderful doctor, and she has such a great personality.. I am very glad I went to see her

absolutely the best dr,!! She is very informative & knowledgeable She is very thorough and compassionate!! She is always helpful, kind and extremely pleasant!!!

Excellent surgeon and her and the team of highly competent colleagues are who you want by your side when you are going through such a terrifying time. I did not experience any poor bedside manner either. All my interactions were thorough, professional and compassionate. These women got me though and I can not Thank Dr. Wells, Dr. Steed and Dr. Sabourin enough.

This doctor was worried about a vacation not her patients and likes getting paid and no bed side manner. The doctor matches the government. We are all in a world of hurt with our health care system

Her specialty might be slicing and dicing however compassion is definitely not one. Very arrogant. Only cared about what she would get paid for as far as operation was concerned. Definitely did not care about filling out insurance forms for her patient. Zero aftercare or post op education.

This physician is the worst I have EVER seen. ‘Incompetent, insensitive, wreck less and careless.’ Should you EVER have the misfortune of having to see her, I strongly urge you to seek a second opinion. Do NOT let this woman near anyone you love. Just an FYI, in my eight year battle with a major health issue, she is the ONLY Doctor who merits this type of review. THE ONLY ONE. Every other physician has been ‘remarkable.’

Dr. Wells is an amazing surgeon and a very caring doctor. I could not have asked for better treatment. I was originally scheduled with Dr. Janelle Sabourin who I felt very lucky to have as my surgeon and got switched at the last minute to Dr. Wells. These Oncologists/Surgeons are the very best you could hope for in every aspect, Knowlege, Skill, Professionalism, Personality and Bedside Manner. They understand that we as patients are terrified and they really care and go out of their way to reassure us that we are in good hands, they are first class in every aspect! We are so lucky to have this Team of Female Oncologists in Edmonton.
