Dr. Wilson operated on each of my two shoulders – rotator cuffs. I can’t say enough about how successful the surgery and followup physio were at gaining back my range of motion and eliminating the pain. Her use of the scope minimized the intrusiveness of the surgery tremendously. She was very direct in her descriptions of the procedures, yet sensitive to any concerns – at one point prior to surgery she even held my hand! She knows her stuff so well it gives you great confidence. Brilliant surgeon! Thunder Bay IS lucky to have you!

unless something has changed she and all the other surgeons of her type are licensed to perform only the Sachs(?) procedure for shoulders which out of about a dozen types has not been recommended by their own orthopedics textbook since 1978. Get the best operation possible ,the bankhart shift (the gold medal standard) but you will have to go out of town. Only 2 or 3 surgeons in all off canada are licensed for this procedure . Without this surgery you face some very possible horrible results such as severe rheumatoid arthritis, possible re-operation or shoulder replacement when the staples degenerate the bone. FIGHT to get a referral to get the BEST operation, not just the only one being offered here.

Dr. Wilson is the best and her son Liam such a quality guy!
