Valerie tries to be competent, she really does but in terms of her actual skills and training as an acupuncturist she is heavily lacking in both technique and the understanding of chinese medicine required to effectively practice. She tries to sell alot of chakra balancing, aura cleansing etc which she seems to be neither intuitively aware enough to really understand what she is diagnosing and how chinese medicine can actually be used to help these things. I do not mean to say that I don’t believe in chakra’s or aura’s as I do, I simply do not see her as being capable of helping someone with fixing these things. My appointments with her were a waste of time. She is very sweet and maybe that’s why she’s working in more fringe level acupuncture but regardless…it’s not effective.
