Mice. Everywhere. Really abusive staff. They would rather be on their cell phones and cry "stress" thsn actually do anything on a daily basis. Really needs to be condemned.

I wish I could give an opinion. My experience was so invasive

I have been a patient here for close to 6 years and let me tell you its not as bad as people are saying it is, The cleaning staff keep it very clean. There are a lot of programs when covid isn't a factor and we still get to walk around in a circle once a day. This covid lockdown has been hard on us all us patients don't get outside as much anymore. One thing I will say is that this place usually takes a very conservative stance towards drugs and alcohol. There's a person whose been here 25 years just for doing drugs. I think we should have a cannibis shop inside the building that would be my hopes for the future. Overall its pretty good, its clean, they provide food, which isn't very good. I asked them for better food and they didn't give us anything. They keep you much longer then you need to stay, As a patient here, I feel like Iv'e wasted 7 years walking down a hallway for having skitzophrenia and using marijuana, as a patient, I don't feel that is fair. Overall three stars. Needs work.

My daughter is there now. We send with her a write up of meds and problems and texts we hve had with her. We hade sent with explicit concern to make sure we are contacted. We have not once been contacted. Beyond that when one of the nurses called us after a visit we had she told us about things that were being done. These things are extra and above anywhere else. I asked for the managers phone number and email. both were denied. (not allowed) I gave in as she said they would be calling us in 30 min when they were done with their meeting. We have still revived no call. repeated times trying. It is a stressful job I get it. You signed on for it. There is no half care that works in these situations. they are often going as a last hope. you are going to crush it with the responses I am seeing here.

I would never recommend this hospital. I have been there twice and the second time I asked for a transfer to a different hospital. I did not see any decent Drs either time I was there. One Dr was truly terrible. He berated me constantly for no apparent reason, and he didn't listen to me. Being in his care not only failed to help, but it made things much, much worse. The other Drs just seemed disinterested and were unhelpful. Most of the nurses were oblivious. Some were rude. One was horribly incompetent. She gave me the wrong medication, dropped my medication on the counter and expected me to take it anyway, and screwed up while changing my roomate's bandages such that another nurse had to redo it and my poor roomate was screaming out in pain. The social workers also leave a lot to be desired. One was very dismissive of my situation and she said she could not help with housing. (Yet a social worker at another hospital was able to help immediately...) Another social worker gave me completely erroneous information about applying for government benefits. The occupational therapist was not able to help me with a return to work plan, and in fact never discussed work at all. Instead she had trite advice about increasing happiness. The guy who led the "meditation" group opened with an off topic, triggering comment that trivialized eating disorders. Overall, I did not receive any help from any of the health care professionals that I saw there.
