Mar 2023 This was my first visit to this hospital and the last!! The triage nurse made me feel like I should not be there even before she got any diagnosis!! Waited 4 hours and there was only 3 people in the waiting room! After seeing the doctor I was sent home apparently with a mild foot 𦶠injury nothing they can do for me? A call from my doctor confirmed I had a foot fracture !! This is our Care professionals?

First let me stress that I do not go to the hospital unless I absolutely have to. It takes a lot to get me to go to the hospital. I have been to this hospital only 3 in the 4 years I have lived in Almonte. This last time just recently. Every time I go here I am made to feel like I should not be there. This is always the case from the triage nurse. Every single time. They are rude and make you feel ashamed that you went there. The doctor I saw was very kind and answered every question and concern I had but this nurse deserved a good talking to. I tried to keep my cool and I was polite but I had to explain to her 2-3 times after her asking my "why did you come here?" (very sarcastically). Patients should NOT be made to feel like they an inconvenience!! I think that I will make a formal complaint to the College of Physicians and Surgeons about this. I understand that this job is and can be very stressful but if they are not happy in this position then they should not be working in the medical field. Why should a patient feel like they have to apologize for being ill???? I don't like leaving reviews like this this but but now with this most recent visit I felt like I had to. the nurse also questioned me (sarcastically) about where I lived. I told her that I live in Almonte and I had every right to be there.

Worst hospital ever would not recommend going. Staff in emerge were very rude. Waited in emerge for 8 hours before getting into a room then waited another 3 hours. Nurses doctors were very unprofessional swearing in hall and wheeling one of the patients l. This is defiantly not the place to go if you need medical attention.

ive never dealt with such an amazing hospital. the emergency nurses/ doctors, aswell as all the nurses and drs in the OB unit, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of me during my pregnancy the numerous times i was in and aswell thank you for the amazing care you gave me while i was there having my daughter rose ð¹ thank you ESPECIALLY to - lisa from unit, lisa from ob, rosie, danika, emily, jody, marilyn, dr latucia, dr caloia, dr awwad, and there are so many others i didn't catch the names of who were so amazing to me! i ð¯ would say to anyone if you have health care problems, or are having a baby, ALMONTE is the place to go for sure. â¤ï¸

I’m absolutely DISGUSTED with the level of care I received after going into the ER with severe kidney pain. I felt as if me being there was a huge inconvenience not only for the triage nurse but for the doctor as well.

Absolutely disgusted with the service in the Almonte General ER. Our 24 month old has had difficulty breathing for over a week, severely congested and fluid in his lungs. He has had a low temperature of around 35.5-36 all day which can be a sign of infection. Have been waiting for over 4 hours with no end in sight. Adults with coughs getting in before him. surely a two year old has some priority? And now after reading the reviews about some of their doctors we’re terrified that once we do get in we’ll just be dismissed. What’s happened to our health care system?!
