Visiting this hospital feels like a death trap. Emergency room Dr gave a misdiagnosis – waited for 5 hours with not one staff member checking on me yet I watched nurses stand around talking, texting and eating. Anytime I’ve been to the valley regional for non emergency reasons everything has been great but emergency is terrible. Watched a security guard have to go find the triage nurse because she was no where to be found and people needed attention. emergency section definitely needs work. The doctors need to care more about actually diagnosing a patient instead of assuming they know what’s wrong after a 5 minute conversation without doing any tests

I had surgery last week at Valley Regional last week. I was very impressed by its staff from cleaning up to surgery doctors.

The nurses were wonderful. All very kind, compassionate , professional and knowledgeable. My stay in the surgery ward the first night was difficult but these ladies got me through it. The surgeons following my care were top notch. The anthesiolgisy doctors managed my pain well and worked hard to find the right combination of meds to lesson my nausea. The nurses on the gyno floor were very kind and lots of advice on alleviating some side affects from the meds I was taking. My last nurse before release gave me great after hospital advice on continued healing and watching for infection. The meals were pretty good for the amount of patients they accomodate everyday; never waiting anymore than half hour for my meal. The cleaning staff were efficient and curteous.

I cannot find a thing to complain about.

Facilities were ok, need updating. Nurses looked and acted, tired, cranky and ready to retire.

Went there for myself because I had a lump on my boob and both times they told me it would go away. They never sent me for test or nothing. Few weeks later my son was sick took him there and they said he was fine and that he only had the flu. He didnt get better went back for the second time and they told me he had a fever of 102 and said he would be fine. Finally got my son into see the family doctor and right off the bat my family doctor new what it was he had Tonsilitis!!!! I will never go to outpatient again there completely useless!!!!!
