I have mixed comments; I had a migraine that required DHE treatment inpatient and they put me on a floor where they were tearing up another department with jackhammers - agony!!!!! Even the doctors who came into the room left quickly as it was horrendous. It NEVER stopped, earplugs didn't help. And if that wasn't bad enough-an alzheimers patient would start screaming at 5pm when the jackhammers left! I felt bad for that patient, but.... Another inpatient stay was ok, just would have liked the staff at the hall station to stop all the talking about none related treatment/patient subjects. Would have liked staff to just check in with me once in awhile to see how I was faring (not hanging IV bags or taking blood, etc.) as I was there for 5 days. The nurses were great though and very caring. Dedicated to their job. Facilities were just ok as it was always noisy. I think if the hospital "tweaks" some of the above it would be so helpful...patient comfort is so helpful for healing.
