Absolutely disappointed with medical system at Auckland hospital, my partner had very awful chesty cough , couldn't breathe properly, we spent 9 hours in ED and they couldn't work out if it was virus or bacterial chest infection, kicked him out at midnight, I never thought in my life you can discharge patient at midnight 😢 in discharge paper saying not unwell enough to be in hospital, well guess you have to be half to be half dead to get help 😱

Disgustingly low quality care, high rate of abuse, dishonest and often foreign incompetent staff that cover up for each other. Auckland Hospital and ADHB are fraudulent entities, masquerading as care or protection, but working with other Crown entities to rip off the elderly and their families, ie. The Public Trust. Do not take your family to this hospital unless you want to see them abused! The staff are not honest, benevolent, or professional, which is actually scary, you've been warned!

Came in and was met with immediate compassion and great level of care from nurses, porters, doctors and reception staff. Cleanest hospital I have ever been in! They made sure my pain was under control and were available to help answer questions or support my care. Thank you emergency staff and ward 77 staff! You guys are bloody amazing xx

Unprofessional. Unfortunately worse service in ED. Left elderly patient waiting for over 5 hours The doctor herself didn't Want to assist the patient to give him a hand in getting up. Patient was in pain and uncomfortable. The nurse was behaving little a pansy. Tripping over the stretcher and giggling away. The patient asked for water which the nurse took forever to bring. Than handed it over at arms length. People such as these should not become doctors and nurses if they can't show compassion and care for the sickly and elderly. Disgraceful and disgusting behavior

I have been treated for both lymphoma (requiring chemotherapy) and an aortic aneurysm (requiring open heart surgery) over the past 8 months and I cannot fault the professionalism and caring attitude of the doctors and nurses in getting me through.

One of the worse hospital
Total garbage , prices are way too high for treatment.
Its Been a week we still waiting for surgery .
Given us estimate of $20000 where i can do same surgery in my country under $1500 but unfortunately coz of new born baby n mom condition I can’t go .

North Shore ambulance 10/10. Akld City Hosp Ward 77 Rm 10c – 10/10 – Fantastic Nurses/Staff. They all went above and beyond. 5 stars!! Excellent.

I have had the misfortune of being an inpatient at this dump in the last month. Had been admitted twice with severe pain. They sent me home saying I was’nt a priority. Hopeless arrogant clinicians who don,t give a damn.They said I had constipation which was rubbish. Why would my GP send me to ER with constipation if he could easily prescribe laxatives? I have demanded attention in an email and threatened to go to the media if nothing is done.

I would give 0 to cleanliness if there’s option. Nobody came to mop the room even after asking 3 times. There’s blood on the railing of bed in maternity ward. No hospital gown provided for 3 days. Food is boring and repeated everyday. Midwives are good and polite.
