I admitted my son for a cystoscpoy in posterior Urethrial valve on 15th Feb and I am delighted about the service by the Doctor Arshad and the staff. I specifically would like to thank the nursing and support staff in sixth floor and operations theatre. You made the procedure much comfortable and professional. Thank you so muchâ¦!!!

Awful – sat there for ever with my 6 year old son with 40 degree temperature – all they could say is they’re too busy. It had been over 6 hours since he had any food or medication , they didn’t even take his temperature – cafeteria was closed , my son was passed out from weakness and all the nurses were just sitting around. Needless to say I left because there were other people there too waiting all day

I urge everyone who does access this institution, to request their medical records, right down to nursing notes.
No patient engagement. No respect to parents. Their way or say hello to Child Apprehension.
Be one step ahead before you access this place. Research policy and know your Rights. The board is also a bunch of lying, power hungry vultures.

Most of the doctors here have absolutely no conscience. They will lie to you all day long, every day of the week, if it saves the health system money to pay them more. They are bureaucrats that could care less than nothing about your child or family. They will prescribe drugs that are detrimental to your child’s wellbeing, if it means you go away and saves future hospital visits. If your child dies as a result, I do not think they could care less. Some physicians/surgeons here seem to have a special arrangement with Macdonald’s pharmacy. I’m not sure if they receive kickbacks, but they go so far as to put Macdonald’s name, phone number and extension in the prescription.

n all of Asia and all countries from Mexico to Argentina, the doctors prescribe medicine that treat and help the child to feel better. I have two toddlers and have recognized BC or it may be a Canadian practice that doesn’t have any medicinal suggestions. My 21 months son has been sick for 31 days. The last seven days, he has had a temperature from minimum 37.8 degrees to 38.2 degrees. I’ve given Tylenol & Advil and we are going on our 8th day where he is extremely lethargic. He spends all day (no exaggeration) next to me. For all people reading this who have only lived in Canada will never understand how other countries accelerate young children’s health in times of crisis. 31 days of cough, runny nose, and loss of appetite should not be brushed off the shoulders. Instead of healing, he is too weak and easily catches another bug. The doctor only suggested to do saline/hydrasense for the green snot and phlegms. In other countries, antihistamine is prescribed where it stops the runny nose-this is proactive/preventive. I wouldn’t need to extract so much snot if medicine was prescribed in the first place. Others may suggest for 21 months old, that medicine is dangerous. Well I believe too much Tylenol/Advil can’t be great for the liver or his little body (7 days giving him this).

I had a horrible experience bringing my daughter here. The nurses and doctors seem like they hate their job.
