This hospital almost killed me with severe Pulmonary Embolisms and I couldn’t breathe anymore and get exhausted they made me walk from the ER waiting room to the room inside and told the doctor about my unable to catch a breath 2 weeks postpartum. They did a CT scan with dye right away and I went back to my room. The nurse was nice he was caring. The doctor said I had a day or 2 to live and that they rushed me into the red zone with oxygen. They advised me not to walk because if I got up alarms would go off saying im in trouble with lack of saturation levels. I told them what happened and was mad at the other side and raised hell. I was seen by a specialists upstairs and was in the hospital for several weeks. The doctor I fired he tried to kill me. I was NOT to be walking he was forcing me. What a crapshow. Then I had very traumatic birthing experience, wrongly accused by the blond social worker who had CAS on me for no reason they said was a waste of time, they wrongly tried to take my baby because I was going to my parents house which is an hour away! I am so angry at the who Q7 who never made me numb during the spinal. They are full of incompetent doctors. The pediatricians are decent

This hospital sometimes gets a bad rap around the area but I’ll tell you when I was about two minutes from pushing up daisies they came through. The young female Dr. and nurses were top notch although they looked about ten years old 😊 Nothing bad to say about this place!

In our first snowstorm of 2021 I went in and told the emergency room doctor I was pretty sure I had appendicitis. He didn’t believe me he ran all the tests and then he said yes you do. Somebody forgot to administer a covid test so by the time the afternoon surgeon saw me, and was ready to operate he was frustrated because it would delay me by a few hours and I would probably not be going home that day. They checked me into the empty maternity ward on the 7th Floor overlooking the water. Every staff member I met was wonderful. I finally got the surgery at 2:30 in the morning. A full 24 hours later my surgeon came to see me and answer all my questions. He was wonderful but I learned that he had been in back to back surgery for 36 hours. He was terribly overworked but all of his surgery staff were fabulous and efficient. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten the surgery so quickly with all the shutdowns and the overworked staff. I can’t thank them all enough.

Worst hospital ever. I’m lucky I got out of that hospital alive.

This place is terrible. My father came in when heart attack systems. They had him sit the waiting room for 8 hours. Once inside they put heart monitoring on and left him. While this is happening my father is having difficulty breathing. He was in emergency for 2 days before they hook up a ekg machine. They hook it up and guess what he is having a heart attack. At this point they decide maybe he should be in KGH. It took 4 hours for them to get an ambulance to transport him to KGH. Before he BGH they said he had covid also. Once KGH he was tested on consecutive days and tested negative both times. KGH was livid they didn't rush him straight down. He had to have triple by pass emergency surgery. DON'T GO TO BGH. THERE A JOKE.

I'm currently a patient here. This hospital is a joke. They say I have covid. I asked to be given a 2nd test to prove it wasn't a false positive. They refused saying "we will give you a test 7 days after you show systems". So if ever show systems do you wait here until you die. They can't find a cause to what is making me sick. I've been accused of using recreational drugs on 5 different occasions. I finally said to do a darn drug test. The place is filthy. There mold behind my toilet. The food is terrible. My stomach is upset after eating. Worse thing tho is how they always complain about not having nurse. STOP treating the students who are trying the learn to help you like there garbage

The worst hospital I've ever seen The woman's clinic was gross the worst nurses there. I went there for a altrasound was told I was to young to be in there I was 44 at that time. It was for cancer screening. Screw you! My ratings for you should be 0 . You are going to kill someone. Never again

Had good experiences in the past, but awful as of late. Unorganized, Poor staff to the point they're starting to scare me - frankly, I'd feel safer doing anything myself. At least then staff won't be adding you to the gossip targets.
