Going through the ER. I would never go to this Hospital again. My Mom was 82 at the time and they sent her home with a broken cheek bone (said it was a small fracture) , dizzy and nauseous. They told me to follow up with a myofascial surgeon. Well we did and he set her up for surgery right away and wound up having a plate and screws in her cheek bone.

My daughter is a frequent flyer at this hospital, and I never hesitate to take her there! Always treated well doctors are knowledgeable and the process is almost always quick. I have actually been in and out of there ER within 45 minutes. Our average stay is 2 to 3 hours I think this is amazing for a ER

Different people in my family have had to go to North Hills Hospital emergency room several times over the last 6 months, most times we have been in and out of there within an hour, x-rays, mri's included in that time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I cannot express how pleased I am with this hospital. 20 Years ago it was a horrible hospital, I'm glad I tried it again to see all of the wonderful changes that have been put into place. They saved my mother's life when she was having a heart attack as well as my husbands broken leg, my son's injury in football, my husbands meningitis, my problems with multiple sclerosis. They are so fast and efficient and the doctor sees you promptly and takes time to listen and then comes back to check on you one more time before you leave.

Staff was standing around talking. Staff took their time getting to us. I was holding my boyfriend,s hand that night because he was in pain and the nurse that finally came in to look at him told me very rudely to go sit down and go away. Then after all that ,all the ER staff at the station around the corner from our room was so rudely standing there talking about me and a few others that where there with patients.after that night we never went back.

I had a pain between my shoulders so I went to the North Hills E/R. They diagnosed me with heart problems. I didn't believe their diagnosis so I made an appointment with a well known Cardiologist in Dallas. He put me on the treadmill and done other tests. .He came in the waiting room and said, who told you that you had heart problems? I said, the doctors in the E/R. He then told me that my heart was fine and then called the E/R doctors a bunch of idiots. There have been several patients misdiagnosed at this hospital. My Advice, stay away from this hospital.
