I am commenting so that I can sing praises for the Nuclear Medicine Unit in Brandon. As a survivor of childhood trauma, I am extremely claustrophobic and anxious in situation in which I feel trapped and unable to escape. I needed to have heart tests requiring that I be injected with a radioactive substance and then placed inside a CT scan machine. Years ago I ended up literally running out of the hospital for fear.of the situation. This time around, thx to nuclear medicine team, and particularly because of the calming attention and skill of Stephanie and Tracey….I was able to do the two required scans back to back scans successfully. Their kindness and patience was above and beyond and much appreciated ! We are so lucky to have such wonderful health care professionals! Kudos to both of these wonderful ladies. Thank you Stephanie and Tracey!

My wife is in constant pain with difficulty in swallowing a month after Hiatus Hernia surgery. The doctors are pretty much washing their hands of the whole problem and sending her back to our much smaller community hospital that does not have the equipment or services that the Brandon Hospital has. For this reason I rate the hospital low for lack of proper concern by the doctors.
