Dirty! Nurses more interested in gossiping than helping! Wait time is forever! Terribly rude triage nurses! Terribly rude staff in all. One of the nurses or housekeepers stole my very expensive item I had been told was going to be locked up until I picked it up. Worst hospital you go in you will come out in a coffin. The head nurse is the meanest most uncaring woman I have ever met!

Typical government ran hospital. Very dirty in every room I visited. Blood on the toilet seats in the bathrooms. I cancelled my operation as I could see paint chips on the ceilings. I was worried that dirt/filth would get me infected. It really does compare to a third world facility.

This hospital compares to a third world facility. The areas I was in were filthy and had many insects. The service was substandard as was the nursing care. I recommend you use this facility only if you are desperate.

Lovely people , but the system of operation sucks big time. Dissatisfied staff due to work overload and lack of care for care providers along with low wages has created a wave of dissatisfaction and poor quality service all over the BC, specially BH. If you are in massive pain and need medical attention asap, don't go there cause their emergency follows ice cream shop policy, first come -first serve, so get in the line and use street drugs to manage your pain for the 3 hours you wait in ER before someone checks you out. Its fast to register you but 3-4 hours wait before you get to see the doc. Happy suffering.

It’s my local hospital, so my family basically ends up there. The place is not very clean and it seems people aren’t excited to be there.
