This hospital is amazing! My daughter has been going here since she was a few months old. The Dr.s are excellent and tremendously caring and compassionate to their patients and their families. The food is a bit pricey but it’s worth it.
I love that they have a store that gives back to the hospital. This hospital has been a second home to us since my daughter was 2 months old.

i had a kidney stone when i was 16, and was in the emergency room. i still had to wait 3-6 hours when i ended up in emerge, because unfortunately this is how the healthcare system is recently. Unfortunately, i was in the worst pain of my life, and they first misdiagnosed me with a UTI. sent me home. i came back 2 days later, and they said it was a kidney stone finally. the most the doctors would do was give me normal grade Tylenol, and send me home to pass the stone. i was in screaming pain, but they wouldn't do anything for me. i didn't pass the stone for a month, and they refused to operate. i was referred to the urologist in the hospital, and we gave her assistant the stone to send it to the lab for analysis. they lost the stone. overall, i was never able to be properly treated with any medication that helped, and never got to know why i had the kidney stone due to them being unorganized. i love the children's hospital and all that they do, but they unfortunately weren't helpful for me during one of the most painful and scary times of my life.

I spent a tense two weeks with my 30 month old son And I can't explain in words how great they were, so glad we were transported there from red deer AB hospital (death trap). The doctors and staff are above reproach. Thank you and god bless to all the staff on ward 3 ❤️🙏. For my son Jon-Paul

I took my baby to hospital when it showed it was 3 hour wait time. My baby didn't pee for 36 hours and they did not consider that and emergency. On 3 hour waiting period they made me wait 12 hours even after 12 hours of wait when I went to ask them how long it's going to take they told me that there is still 12 paitents in front of me. They don't know how to manage their staff and how to work with people. Health system is terrible just hire more doctors and give jobs to people.

Not a good place to go for Children's mental health. 811 will tell you to come here. They are awful at dealing with teens and mental health. Ended up being sent home, so I went directly to the South Health Campus. They were absolutely fabulous! It's very unfortunate that they have little to no compassion for mental health issues.
