It s emergency department is the worst in the world l ever , service and nurses behaviour is really bad , and it my experience from 20 years,
    No humanity
    No manners
    No qualification
No value for human life , No matter it is a fetus or baby or kid or adult .

I recommend every not go there . Waiting period is insane and it is the same from the first moment you enter there, there is no flexibility , and priority according to situation
If a mother is losing her baby and having bleeding , they don’t care , they say every body is waiting ten hours , and you Had to wait the same no matter if your baby die or live.
    Horrible !!
E why we go to emergency??? Because there is urgent situation
They compare a pregnant women having heavy bleeding and having labor pain cramps to all other patients with different non threading situations,
And many times because of their neglance and this long waiting policy
    Mothers lost their fetus.
    How painful it is !!!
In fact. Their life was able to be saved if acted promptly on time and faster ..
I wish badly that the management and the owners of this hospital the Inchangé rge of this hospital suffer the same as he put others in ,
It is all due to his bad policies and the system that emergency department should have only 1 doctor and 3 nurses only regardless of number of patients ,
They are only deceiving the government , and gather funds by registering the patient , but not willing at all to change the system to better and care about patient and his comfort. Instead forcing him to suffer .
Believe me folks going to this hospital emergency is a punishment or it is like a jail.
It don’t deserve even one star .
Full of filth pride and politics

The worst for emergency waiting . I don’t know how come the city don’t do anything about it . How can emergency wait be 8-10 hours . How is that emergency service?

Son had surgery last month- every single step of the way we felt cared for and listened to. Having a sick child in for surgery is never fun, but for a child with anxiety they were exceptional! They explained every step with props to him, answered all of his questions, and made him laugh and feel so comfortable that he waltzed right in to the OR not even looking back to wave to us!
We’ve also had to use the emerg many times, and have had nothing but exceptional care. Those who complain about a long wait for urgent care issues don’t understand the meaning of triage. If you are close to losing your life or a limb – you will be seen immediately. And the care you receive will be fantastic. If it have to wait- then most likely your issue could be seen at an urgent care, walk in or family doctor.
Health care in Canada is sub-par these days- but CMH rises above

This is day 12 that I’ve been in Cambridge Memorial Hospital. I will be here for awhile yet before moving onto Freeport for rehab. I have had the most wonderful experience while here. Both the Doctors and staff have been amazing. The room I’m in is lovely and very clean. Even the food is great. I have been so well taken care of after my car accident. Cambridge Memorial Hospital Doctors and staff I can’t thank you enough for your care, devotion and kindness. Thank you, Karen H

I recently had surgery to remove a Basal Cell Carcinoma. I had the occasion to be at the hospital for a biopsy, pre op consultation and the surgery. On all three occasions I was treated with nothing but respect and compassion by every member of the staff. w

This included the welcoming and helpful volunteers, professional and kind nursing staff who took excellent care of me from the time I entered the hospital until I left. My surgeon was Dr. S. Nayan who is knowledgable, highly skilled, compassionate, and totally approachable at any time , to answer any questions my husband or I had. Her surgical team was also very kind and highly professional. Any kind of administration documents that needed to be completed were very well organized. Never once in the hospital was I at a loss as to what to do or where to go because I was either politely directed to my destination or there was someone to whom I could ask.
Surgery is never fun, but my experience at Cambridge Memorial was exceptional. Well done to all of the people at this hospital who displayed nothing but professionalism
and compassion while I was there.
Realistically my husband and I know that no hospital is going to be perfect every day, but my experience at Cambridge Memorial urges me to rate it the best hospital in the KW area.
To everyone who works there- Thank You.

I had a total knee replacement in May 2023 and could not have had a better experience in this hospital. The staff were amazingly kind and caring at every level of my care. I have a wave of peace now every time I go by the hospital.

My surgery at the Cambridge Hospital was a tremendous experience. This was the first time ever for me to have surgery and everyone was so helpful. My surgery was on my birthday and the post op team gathers around and sang happy birthday. How good is that. Thank you to all who helped through a difficult day. Cannot say enough. Peter Dawn

I have never been so impressed with a hospital as I've been with CMH. I went into the ER in horrific pain and they saw me very quickly. They were very thorough with all the tests and discovered I had gallstones. I was quickly sent to see a surgeon, Dr. MacLeod, who after doing a scope recommended surgery. I had my gallbladder removed a few days ago and had such a great experience with the staff. From the doctors to the nurses to the volunteers, everyone was so kind and did everything they could to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be. I have very bad anxiety but Dr. MacLeod and her team were so compassionate and really made me feel safe. Which is hard to do in a hospital. I'm 3 days post-op and I'm healing well. I even got a call from the hospital today to see how I'm doing. This could've been a horrific experience for me but the staff at CMH made sure it wasn't and I'm so grateful.

Brought my son here for an allergic reaction. Triage nurse refused to give medicine and told us that as long as he is breathing ok she won't give anything. If he will have trouble breathing then only will give something. Waited for almost 6 hours..no doctor attended. People sitting in triage waiting for almost 10 hrs just to see the doctor..front staff is very rude...almost 5 -6 kids at the same time in ER and staff is refusing to attend after first registration...not coming back here..

This is the absolute worst hospital to exist if you're going there for an emergency. Huge turnover rate and most the nurses are at the most PSW level and should not be allowed to have the title of a nurse. All staff are miserable. The wait is atrocious. Your typical wait time is guaranteed to exceed 6+ hours and at least 1-2 hrs before even seeing the triage nurse. They are also always short staffed obviously due to the high turn over rate. They need a better system in place like brantford. Brantford has a see and treat dept in which if they don't consider it an immediate emergency then at least you are being seen in a timely manner without the fear of losing your family doctor. Do better Cambridge.
