I waited almost 7 hours to be told take Advil and see your family doctor. I injured my back and was in a lot of pain. I understood the hospital was short staffed and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but when the doctor spoke to me the way she did I couldn’t believe it. I did t get any tests done on my back and now I’m currently in another hospital waiting to get checked out. I don’t visit hospitals often for myself so I know when something is clearly wrong. I have never been so Infuriated ontop of my back pain. They have signs posted all over the hospital talking about kindness, they should take there own advice. I’ll visit my dogs Veterinary clinic before I come to Cambridge memorial hospital again.

This is by far the worse hospital I’ve ever been too I came here with serious chest pain and tingling feeling in my left arm a nurse brought me to do a x ray sit there 1 hour till I started feeling dizzy so I went to the desk they said they didn’t even know I was there now they got me back in the waiting room been here 12 hours in my condition no medical care yet this is crazy

Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever visited. Useless “nurses” (I have a hard time labeling them as that) and completely disorganized. My 6 year old child was left unattended ALL night in pain. Staff were rude and careless. We left after being told by a “nurse” nobody would be able to check on his pain “for a very, very long time” and drove to a real hospital in Toronto and were seen within 20 minutes and diagnosed. Next time save yourself time and make a trip to an actual hospital with knowledgeable staff. You won’t regret it.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. They absolutely do the bare minimal to get you out of there as soon as they can, even though they’re wait times are 6 hours plus you would think they would at least give you the courtesy to listen to everything that’s going on instead of doing standard chest and telling you to leave because you’re not dying. They have no problem prescribing you lorazepam and telling you that it’s just your anxiety, rather than just taking real tests to see what’s really going on.

The staff of Cambridge Memorial Hospital doesn’t even deserve to work with patients. They are racists, they neglect patients and are rude to families. They have no compassion and only care to cover for one another. The worst one is Jane Ottoman who is nothing but a snake. She covers up all the crimes done by the staff. however, the time will come when they are exposed to the public.

Don't take your loved ones for mental health care. They will be treated better in jail. Please explain to me how putting human being in a blank room with a plastic mattress in plastic clothing alone is fondness to help them NOT WANT TO KILL THEMSELVES!! I will NEVER take my son there again. I hate them all

I broke my femur... I was brought here.. I was treated like crap by the emergency staff.. called me a liar.. refused to accept how my leg broke... When you jump a bike 18 feet in the air over a 30 foot gap and miss the landing.. stuff breaks... When i woke from surgery the ill treatmen persisted, calling me names laughing at my situation. .I believe I was over medicated on purpose.. when hit the morphine button it would knock me out fir 20-30 min I would come to completely disoriented not being able to see the time made it worse.. So I would call for a nurse.. After a few times of this happening these two garbage nurses started calling me a baby telling me old ladies deal with pain better then me.. And all kinds of other belittling comments.. I signed myself out 2 days after 8 hour surgery on my leg.. They prescribed me zero pain meds. I LEFT IN A TAXI..

(( In my opinion, I don't Trust what their staff say or do ! )) This is the most despicable hospital I have ever visited! Unprofessional, despicable and abusive staff. This includes the doctor that seen me and did not fully assess me. If You don't believe me, stand in the ER and look how they treat people! I was brought to the Cambridge Hospital in an ambulance, after a car accident having been knocked unconscious. This happened shortly after 2:00pm . Just after midnight 12:00 AM, 10 hours later they brought me to the back for an evaluation and then I waited for another 2 to 3 hours. During this time, I was discriminated against, treated like a piece of garbage by the clerk hovering on top of me pointing her finger in my face (while I'm laying in the hospital bed), telling me “it's because of Doug Ford” and accusing me of voting for him. She said that this hospital is in shambles and that she only makes $21 an hour! While she was bumping her hip against my leg and pointing at me in my face! The doctor that had seen me before, said “don't get on the wrong side of the hospital staff, they will show you!” And all this was because, I asked when I was going to be seen; after so many hours has gone by and I'm in pain. 3:30am, I left the Cambridge hospital not properly assessed, limping with excruciating pain in my hip leg and my back from the car accident injury. I called a Taxi, to go home. I am a 45-year-old man. I sat and waited, the waiting room flipped over and I was still waiting. The staff ignore and just pick and choose who is seen and will let those like myself just sit and sit. It was now the middle of the night of pain not fully assessed, by the doctor and the arrogant staff. The behaviour and attitudes of the nursing staff should be supervised, evaluated and reconfigured. Nurses and doctors are to help, care and comfort those in need. Not berate and belittle people and punish those who ask how long the wait time is (and deliberately make them wait even longer).
