Pathetic aftercare and fear based staff. Misuse of taxpayers monies

The nurses were absolutely wonderful when I got my wisdom teeth out. They went above and beyond to relieve any anxiety I had. I admire them so much and am forever grateful.

Was required to go here as my local hospital in Nanaimo couldn’t see me for 10 weeks to do a colonoscopy as a result of a positive FIT test. Was able to get an appointment here within 3 weeks. A fantastic hospital, beautiful facilities, not crowded and wonderful caring, experienced
and professional staff. This place is a gem and we are so fortunate to have such a fine hospital. My thanks to all the nurses and doctors who looked after me so well.

Absolutely shameful, the system the staff, except for ang, this place is dreadful and the people that work here for the most part are under a malaise of cynicism and priestess power trip, I implore anyone who cares about there health to strongly not do business here, zero care in health care, awful

Brand new state of the art hospital with its own MRI machine. All the equipment is brand new. Nothing was brought in from the old hospital.

If you're thinking of being a house keeper here don't apply. Mangers don't admit if they do anything wrong, good luck getting a schedule that's correct and make sure your trainer knows he/she is training you for their shift because the managers won't. Showed up once when the lead manger leticia told me my trainer knew he was training me, had to walk for an hour to find him because he was never told. If you inform the managers about a mistake like that they just say “that's too bad” management does nothing if you're a housekeeper don't think they'll help. Sitting in the housekeeping room you can hear everyone talk about the managers or when the managers come into the break room and talk about the other managers or other staff members. Good luck being happy here lmao

My young grandson has received top notch care from all staff during his extended stay. Nurses, technicians couldn't be friendlier or more professional. We also have had to visit the ER and revived prompt, professional and caring attention. Well done Campbell River!

They won't care where you are stationed for your shift, they'll just put you where ever they want even if it's a section you haven't been trained in, and if they tell you to walk around and help people, don't bother cause no one needs it. Shifts are mainly spent looking for stuff to do as the supervisors will send you to a different area and then when you finish that they won't know what to do with you. Don't apply at housekeeping, way too unorganized. They'll skip over a ton of the training for the intranet and other things and then act surprised when you tell them they never taught you those things or even told you about them.
