I've been hospitalised there since 3 mounths. I've seen everything from the best of the best to the very worse. It doesn't depends on the etablishement is the opinion I have, the facilitys are very satisfying. But the difference stands between witch nurses and mostly witch doctor you fall on. Doctors are almost gods in there so it's like trowing a dice; you might get a 6 or a 1 and that's the same reality witchever hospital you go to unfortunatly...

I had 2 knee surgeries here. Awful awful awful. The social worker came to see me the first time and spoke to me in English but once we went out of the room, would no longer use English. After surgery- no therapy. Nothing. I was not taken to the bathroom. They refused. I did not wash or brush my teeth for three days. I had to get out of bed to use the toilet chair in my room and then the orderly would be angry he had to clean it up. The social worker said she thought I mighthave phlebitis so I asked the doc who yelled at me that I did not have it but he would book a test and went out of the room screaming. Next day taken to xray and was left there – with staff beside me who refused to allow me to go to the bathroom even though we had been there for an hour waiting…nasty mean spirited. They said there was none (!) I finally got up on my own and found one and they did not help me. I buzzed once for pain meds. Waited 15 minutes, no nurse, buzzed again. Waited 15 minutes, no response. I was in excruciating pain and called virtually unable to speak and the nurse came in yelling at me that I should not wait until the pain got this bad. My room mate told them I had buzzed three times in the last 45 minutes and it was not my fault.
Next time I was assigned an older nurse who was kind but inept. She had no idea how to attach the “cycle” machine to my leg and it caused pain. I saw no one but her. Nurses came in a fussed and fussed over the other patient in my room but would never even ask me how I was. Traumatic terrible times.
