C'était ma première expérience à cet hôpital et je peux dire qu'il ne faut pas se fier aux premières impressions. La bâtisse est vieille mais le personnel tellement généreux et agréable. Du premier contact jusqu'au dernier j'ai été impressionné, des sourires par tous les employés même s'ils n'étaient pas reliés à ma procédure. Je n'ai malheureusement pas le nom de cette infirmière qui m'a tenue contre elle lors de mon épidural et qui m'a flatté les épaules pour diminuer mon stress elle a fait toute une différence, Dr Homsy tellement gentil, Dr Mutch une perle et l'infirmière qui s'est occupé de moi dans la salle de réveil, qui a pris le temps de refaire mon pansement car mon orteil s'est mise à saigner et malgré l'heure qui avançait (j'étais la dernière patiente) elle avait toujours un beau sourire. Je vous remercie tous du plus profond de mon coeur pour permettre de rendre ces expériences un peu plus réconfortantes.

Was a patient June 7th,had a long wait,but I nearly passed out when I was finally at the registration desk,and then was seen immediately,but after being admitted,everything else went smoothly,had xrays,and other procedures done,for an ulcer,was discharged on June 9th,with prescriptions for meds and have an appointment to go back and see a gastro doctor,which I am trying to get an appointment with,still trying to do so.Other from that I can't complain about the treatment when I was there,only it was a long wait after the ambulance dropped me off,but I nearly passed out at the admitted desk,so I feel that's why I was admitted immediately,because I was really in bad shape and I thank God for that,the hospital is okay in my book,don't know if maybe they were not so good before,but I can't complain,they were courteous and respectful for the time I was there,nurses,doctors,kudos to all of you working there,keep it up,and for what I saw the workers are good at what they do,and it is a clean hospital,toilets and the building was cleaned everyday as I saw with my own two eyes,very good hospital.

In 2016, misdiagnosed 2 times. Almost cost my life, 20 hours wait the first time I went, saw Dr Belhachmi (102075) with complain of sudden abdominal pain and sensation of no internal movement . He orders an Xray , conclude to constipation and tell me to go see my family doctor, sent home w laxaday. Worsen , I came back by ambulance, passed Gscope finds nothing sent home again, the 3rd time , by then vomiting blood, the Dr on guard a surgeon ordered a CT SCAN and found thombosis of superior mesenteric vein with possible necrosis of Small bowel. They could not do anything for me, he arranged an emergency transfer to the Glenn Royal Victoria, where I underwent a 75cm small bowel resection.
