I went to this hospital in an emergency situation. They were very kind and provided great care in a very timely manner. I will always go here and never to Willis knighton

I had hip surgery and knee replacement surgery. Was also in Intensive Care for a n infection. Nurses are so friendly and attentive to you needs. I also have MS and my Neurologist is the best in the area, in my opinion. I have seen a lot of neurologists in 30 years that I have had MS and most do not have any personality. Dr Meghan Harris really cares for her patients. She talks to you in plain terms and really works with you. I also see Dr Leigh Henderson and she and her staff are almost like family. Can’t say enough good about both. My knee surgeon is good,. Just really busy and does not spends as much time with you, but his PA is excellent. I was brought in by
ambulance twice to the ER. The ER staff was also very attentive. Once for a broken hip. And once for a severe blood infection. They got me stabilized in the ER for the infection and transferred me to ICU. ICU is not fun or a place anyone would choose to be in, but the care I received was awesome. The bed in ICU sucked, was very uncomfortable. But staff is top notch.

Had knee replacement surgery, didn't not work out for me! They just didn't seem to care to find what the actual problem is! I still have more pain than before surgery, can't bend, straighten the way I could before or walk good! Doctor told me he was going to get me through this, well he didn't and they just left me like this! Can't even do have of what I could do before this surgery!

I have suffered with cat allergies for the last two years which has been verified by a medical physician. There are certain times that my airways are constricted from these cat allergies. The two prominent problems that I experienced during a sever flare up are excessive wheezing and chest congestion. These two problems will typically render my prescribed inhaler ineffective during this severe flare up. I have a documented record at both David Raines Community Health Center and Christus Highland Medical Center of me as a patient requiring the use of steroids which were prescribed by different doctors between both facilities. Upon my arrival at Christus Highland Medical Center everything was procedural up until the doctor came into my room. Faye Lee, MD entered the room and there was no formal greeting to see how I was as a patient. No empathy was expressed on the physician's behalf in regard to the severe breathing problems I was suffering from. The prior night, which was 12-16-2022, I woke up every hour wheezing excessively and coughing. The wheezing had progressively gotten worst over the last 4 days which is typical when I have a severe flare up. This information was provided to Faye Lee, MD. However, she stated that my lungs had no form of wheezing which could be found and stated that the phylum in chest was from the upper chest and not the lungs. Faye Lee, MD was insistent on providing me with a breathing treatment while I was in the Emergency Room instead of prescribing a Methylprednisone pack which I stated has worked very well in my situation. Several doctors from Christus Highland Medical Center have prescribed this treatment for me and it is a highly efficient treatment. Faye Lee, MD was more concerned with providing me with a breathing treatment which in my opinion she was trying bill Medicaid to achieve a higher procedural cost for the services she was rendering. I reiterated to Faye Lee, MD that the breathing treatments are ineffective and therefore I did not want to bill my insurance for a treatment that does not work. Faye Lee, MD did not attempt to provide me with any form of treatment outside of what she deemed necessary “breathing treatment”. Faye Lee, MD did not resolve my wheezing as a physician, nor did she research my past appointments that were for the same problem at the Christus Highland Medical Center. There was no concerted effort on her behalf to resolve my allergen problem. Me and my daughter left the room because my wife was also a patient at the facility and Faye Lee, MD raised her voice in front of two nurses that were at the front desk to tell me and my daughter in a rude manner that the exit is right in front of her. Embarrassing me and my daughter in front of the patients that were in the facility. Faye Lee, MD has a level of unprofessionalism that should be investigated by the Louisiana Board. A special investigation should be conducted to determine if Faye Lee, MD has been overcharging Medicaid patients for services that are not required at Christus Highland Medical Center.

I had knee replacement surgery in April, everything went well and everyone was really good to me! I have to say the after care started off well but I am still in pain , can't bend , straighten or even walk the way I could before! I have been back and seen my surgeon and a rheumatologist and they think it's Cronic Pain Syndrome, I don't think that it is! Now they are sending me to pain management and unfortunately I can't get in until December and that's just a consultation to assess me.I very disappointed in my after care,It feels like I am just being passed off to be someone else's problem, meanwhile I have been left in pain for months and I regret ever having this surgery
