today I traveled to Cumberland Health Care Centre for a colonoscopy. Colonoscopies are never something I look forward to but I have been on a waitlist for over two years and was very grateful to have been gifted this appointment. The day surgery nurses were kind, warm, and friendly and made me feel welcome. The nurse who inserted my IV was a pro [ I didn’t feel a thing!]. The surgical nurses, of which there were three, deftly assisted the doctor during the procedure and me through mild discomfort. My doctor, Dr. McWilliams, was kind, encouraging, and skillful as the entire procedure took no longer than 30 minutes and I was back in recovery. I am beyond grateful and so impressed with Cumberland Health Care, this hidden gem. The very best experience, the very best care, and the very best people! most definitely a five-star review!

If you need immediate care in our area, you will not receive it in a timely manner and will be spoken to rudely and coldly when you go to talk to them about worsening symptoms (you’ll just have to wait and there’s no time line on when you’ll be seen) this hospital is disgraceful

Nurses are nice and do job well, Dr’s are incompetent and can’t diagnose a scratch let alone complicated stuff. If you like wasting time and random medicatons that don’t help, then this is the hospital for you.

Worst hospital ever, I think they took the short bus to med school. Almost killed both my parents on multiple occasions. They should be charged!

Totally disgusting and far from being clean you are better off treating yourself by googling your symptom's. This isn't the first time I have been here and the service get worse. When I had a n Ontario health card I got better service.

They take your MSI and don't let you see a doctor. They text all of the time, ignoring the patient, always eating take out pizza with Dr. Atia.they ignore the patients needs, and always says that they have an ambulance out back, and if you were to go outside of the building, there are no ambulance there... nothing but lies,we need a diverse hospital where we can get treated and this hospital should have learned the first time.People are afraid to go to this hospital.Dr Atia has a patient Dylan Gogan held against his own will, even had the nurses take his wheelchair from him.plus takes his laptop and reads what Dylan is writing.Sounds like some terrorist camp.Pathetic

You're better off going to see a medicine man. Wait times are preposterous and the staff is apathetic and lazy.
