avoid this hospital at all cost if you like being talk down too by E.R. Doctor then this is the place for you.no matter how honest you are about your own medical symptoms..its like whatever mood the staff is in..then you the patient, will pay for… cried my eyes out when I got out to car in there parking lot

My review is based on my ATTEMPT to schedule a mammogram. I called the number listed on Google for Deaconess mammograms and the man who answered my call was from “central scheduling”. I told him I needed to schedule a mammogram and he asked for my name and birthdate. He proceeded to tell me several times that I wasn’t “in the system”. I told him I’d had mammos there before, he continued to tell me I wasn’t in the system and ask for more information from me. His attitude and tone of voice weren’t friendly and he seemed quite frustrated but I continued to answer his repetitive questions and listen to him tell me I wasn’t in their system as if *I* somehow had something to do with that. Finally he asked where I had my previous mammograms and I said in the main building by the gift shop. He then got REALLY rude and said “Which building? I schedule for 9 facilities!”. At that point I was done. I told him I’d call back another time and hung up. Luckily for me OU Med Center was more than gracious and happy to have my business and I’ve got an appointment with them.

STAY AWAY if you want to have any type of peaceful/natural birth. The nurse Amy in particular will lie to you face and laugh when you ask her questions. I’m so thankful my baby was healthy or I’m scared to think what could have happened to us.

    AVOID Deaconess ER !
I was taken to Deaconess after an auto accident & placed in an exam room. They were more interested in getting my name, address, SSN, insurance, next of kin, etc. than they were in treating me. They took my info, blood pressure, and pulse and then they abandoned me.

They were not busy! I was the ONLY patient in the trauma area!!! But nobody came back. After ONE HOUR no one had bothered to even check on me. I called a family member who came and took me to St. Anthony where I was treated for a broken arm and a back injury.

Guess what? Deaconess sent me a bill for $1200 for doing NOTHING—AND I received a bill for $800 from a physician who had NEVER EVEN COME INTO THE TREATMENT ROOM and had NOT provided any care. I called Deaconess and they CLAIMED they were sorry, but then they SUED ME because I had not paid for treatment I never received.!!!!! They lost and ended up having to pay my attorney fees. But that does not lessen the pain I was in for an extended amount of time because they failed to treat me and I had to go to another hospital to get any care!

AVOID DEACONESS AT ALL COSTS ! Go to St. Anthony or the OU Health center.
