I am pregnant and went in with servers pain, the doctor Sent me home after just doing routine check up and ultrasound on my baby. Baby is good go home & rest. But I’m not good, she didn’t seem to care. Then when I went back later that night Same thing this time didn’t bother brining my chart in the room with her. I said Somthing is wrong, I’m in a lot of pain. She put me on oral antibiotics for a UTI earlier that day, but didn’t check the culture in my urine to see what exactly the bacteria was. Turns out a day later I go back this time in major 10 pain can hardly walk. Back pain then could hardly breath , I ended up on morphine and going by ambulance to Red Deer where they did Mutiple tests and found that I had fluid in my lungs, they kept me over night 2 night and have me antibiotics through IV … It’s sad that we can’t have the testing and care in Drayton and that the doctor didn’t take me seriously when I said I’m not good, Somthing is wrong. I really wish they would be better.

I have never seen a more disrespectful bunch of @sshol€s …… my wife and I went in at 7pm to an empty waiting room. At 10 pm we left and the waiting room was full and the dipshit doctor was out having supper still. Not one nurse came to check on my wife in that time either . Can’t get into a doctor’s office during the day and can’t see one at the hospital at night , what is the use to these waists of paychecks …………

Consistently the worst hospital I visit. I took my 2 year old son in a couple weeks back to have his fever/cold checked out and to confirm it was an infection. Just needed to see a doctor for 5 minutes to get a prescription. Waited 3 hours in a near empty waiting room before finally seeing a doctor for 2 minutes.
Fast forward to today. Arrive in a fairly busy waiting room at 10 am. This time my wife has caught the same thing going through the house. Waited in the waiting room for 3.5 hours. Didn’t even get admitted. After watching on average of one patient admitted every 1.5 hours, we just left. Another observation; no ambulances, no emergencies of any kind entered the ER the 3.5 hours I sat there waiting for my wife to see a doctor. When I handed the nurse her admittance bracelet and told her we would just wait it out at home, she just said ok. This hospital and the people running the ER may care deeply for their patience, but if they do I sure as fu@k couldn’t tell.

My daughter has gone several times to this hospital with kidney problems… she has been disrespected, made to wait for hours with NO pain medications for hours while the doctors and staff drink Tim’s coffee and eat donuts behind the desk, and spend time on their personal cell phones, (obviously personal, as they are texting and smiling while doing so) She has a kidney disease…gets very frequent kidney infections… and passes stones monthly. This is a disgrace to our health system to hear of this happening. Come on Drayton Valley, this is ridiculous! Do Better

I have never felt so disrespected in my life before. I was seen in this hospital for a severe flare up of my auto immune disease and the nurse looking after me (nurse Snow) was too busy flirting with and eye banging the doctor to give me the care I deserved. I've been told a few times that this nurse is known for disappearing with doctors while on shift, but I don't think that I've ever experienced anything like this in my life before. Keep your personal business out of the hospital, and do your job!

The hospital is so hit and miss. One time they are amazing and the next they are horrible. Most of the time you feel like you're inconveniencing them just being there ( in all the departments, not just emerg)

They spend more time on their computers trying to figure out their own technology than the time they should be taking to give care to patients. Place is a joke
