My husband was having a cardiac emergency at this hospital and was left alone without being checked on for 3 hours. This could have very easily been a fatal example of gross negligence. Horrifying night for his family waiting at home, while he was ignored and then treated like pure garbage by the nurses. Embarrassing medical facility for our valley

I went here after a grade 3 ankle sprain and the male nurse was ignorant. I said I wasn't in a lot of pain but it was painful to walk or stand. I had to beg for an ice pack to which he claimed they had none. But he said that about wheel chairs then put me in a room with wheel chairs. He actually made me stand at the little window while he asked the standard Covid questions. He then made us remove the masks we just got in the lobby by the sign that says use mask and sanitize hands so we could get another mask and sanitize our hands again. Dr.Rudolph was attending and friendly. The follow up care at the clinic with dr.dayo was just as ridiculous. He told me he'd refer me to physiotherapy but didn't so when I called to ask the nurse told me I could refer myself. I'm 10 weeks from my initial injury and in far more pain than I was when I went to the hospital in the first place. If you can go out of Drumheller for health care do it.

Was there for 2 1/2 hours. No one in waiting room and only 2 in the back. The old guy doctor was rude and said go home if I didn't want to wait.

finally got some great care from here..after being there tons a few yrs ago with no answers to walking in there 2day 2 have wonderful.care from everyone and felt calmer leaving.janice was the nurse that took time 2 treat me like a human and dr blackburn listened to me like he cared.and the rest of the staff i personally thank u for calming me down and understanding my stress wasnt just me being paranoid after a trauma.

Love MaryEllen the nurse , she was very good to me when I was at my worst she was especially knowledgeble about my conditions at all times ,she kept me laughing ,she was all around my kind of people, thank u for just being u MaryEllen ,I wish u were there to say goodbye when I left ,I will c u again,

Unfortunately unable to handle people in emerg. Staff is smiley but rude comments. Lecturing the whole time on wasting tax payers money. I only come to emerg when I feel it’s an emergency, and yes it is My taxpayer money that is paying. Going to the city after this for medical attention.

How is it possible that it takes 5 hours for maybe 8 people in emerg., not accidents. In the city there would have been probably 100 people seen in that amount of time. What is going on???? If you have an emergency might be worth the while to go to Calgary

If you find out a doc from DAP is working, you’re better off to drive to Calgary. Don’t take a chance with your health or the health of your loved ones.

A small number of Dr’s here are questionable so they often give Drumheller physicians a bad name but in my experience as I have been to a few hospitals across the world I feel we are fortunate to have such a clean, caring facility.

I have been to this hospital several times between myself and family members and every time we go we wish we would of taken the 1.5 hour drive to Calgary, it seems as though the doctors in drumheller know nothing as they Google your symptoms and come up with a diagnosis that is later proven false by another doctor elsewhere. I recently went to the clinic where the doctor there told me to go to emerg at the hospital where I quickly had blood taken and x rays… 4.5 hours later the doctor finally arrived at the hospital.. And told me I was fine and sent me home.. During that 4.5 hours not one nurse came to check on me or gave me anything to manage my pain.. Sent home with no diagnosis or medication my family and myself went to Calgary where I had an emergency appendectomy… High five drumheller! To all famililies visiting drumheller this summer do yourself a favour and don’t go to this hospital!
