I can’t believe all of those negative responces…I’ve been a patient several times and have had excellent care. Yes, I’ve even sat in emergency for several hours, but unfortunately that is expected. When I went with life threatening problem I was taken in immediately and seen by a Dr. ..sorry if I jumped the line and someone else had to waut…

Wish there was an option to give a âzeroâ to this âhospitalâ. Waited 9 hours in Emerg for a 2 minute doctor consult only to be told there was nothing wrong with me. I’m not a âfrequent flyerâ that goes up to Emerg looking for people to visit with because I’m lonely and have no life. The last time I went to Emerg was in 2016, so I don’t abuse the system. Nurses were sitting in the dark behind the admitting desk when I went to ask how much longer the wait was going to be. The place was dead, so not sure what the holdup was because I didn’t see any other patients. No one checked in on us, just left me sitting in a room. We would have been better off driving to Sioux Lookout to see someone at Emerg. At least we would have had professional treatment. And on a final note, not sure where all the 50/50 money is going because the Dryden hospital is run down with old, ripped equipment and a crumbling building. Went to use a washroom and the floor was ripped beside the toilet and there was hair and dirt on the sink and floor. Maybe spend some money on Renos, new equipment and hiring doctors that actually want to help patients. Im sure the Admin offices upstairs are beautiful though!

If I could rate this place less than 1 star I would! We have been waiting in emerg for 5.5 hours and have not been seen yet. There isn’t a soul in here, so not sure what is going on. Completely useless! This place is the biggest joke and should be closed down.

If you get anyone but bester then good luck.. one diagnosed me with appendicitis then sent me home in pain without treating it.. I’m going back today or tomorrow and hoping i get bester .. he’s the only doctor who cares
