I witnessed a custodian rinse her cloth in the toilet, in the Psychatric Assessment Unit of the Waterford Hospital, then use it to wipe down the toilet, sink, handles, and chairs in the PAU! This is the last time I'll ever go there. The health care in this province is awful. It can ruin your mental health. I have had awful experiences at the Health Sciences Centre and St. Clare's Mercy Hospital emergency rooms regarding non-psychiatric-related medical issues (such as Grand-Mal Seizures; I'm epiletic) as well. I do not recommend the hospitals or walk-in clinics here. It can make you leave feeling worse than you felt before you came in.

The doctors and nurses spend more time chit chatting and on their phones than paying attention to patients.
Hospital is too busy and I certainly hope I don’t have to go to emergency. I’d say I’d be dead waiting by how slow everything is
Completely horrible place. Most staff are even rude and not helpful. We need more facilities and I think phones should be left in their lockers or bags. It’s so horrible.

Based on my experience over the past year, with day surgeries and a major surgery, I can only say that I was treated with the upmost respect, the nurses were fantastic and all services…except meals were excellent. The meals, will improvement is certainly needed but that being said, it was the least of my worries at the time. We met some really friendly staff and despite how busy they were, I was provided with excellent care. God bless you all!

For any running of a hospital or clinic, must be hard!

Health Care is gone.
You ‘re bitter off, just going in the wood.
The way they treat people is terrible.
Health Sciences and The Miller Centre is the worse .
At the Miller Centre, I was told by a nurse.
We don’t feed patients in here.
We just pump them full of Morphine.
Because we are shortage of beds.
To me that murder.
It’s a disgrace to our Health Care System.
This need to be stop.

lied to, beaten, left alone, wrong drugs applied, these are a few of the things I had to deal with in hospital after surgery. I’d rather die than go back and face that again. I had a high regard for nurses before this torturous occasion but now I think they are lower than a snakes bottom.
