I'm happy with the sleep lab here. The staff was nice, caring, and kind. The results came quickly, and the doctor, who's friendly, gave helpful tips to improve my sleep patterns. He also guided me on managing my insomnia. Sleeping better takes effort, so being a good patient and following the doctor's advice is key.

The doctors and surgeons are the best, but I’ve been treated there several times, and the facilities are always dirty, and the nursing staff very unprofessional. Last time I was there, they could be heard talking terrible about the patients right within ear shot of everyone. I am an amputee without a sound leg. After my surgery, I asked for a female urinal because I knew I may fall getting up to go to the restroom for the first time. The nurse responded that I could get up and walk to the bathroom and that she’d never heard of a female urinal. My husband told her I was wheelchair bound and couldn’t walk. He was concerned about my stability since I was in quite a bit of pain. After a nurse was very unkind, leaving me in tears and humiliating me, I asked for an advocate for myself. They hurried and got me discharged, and I was never able to talk to someone. They always tell you to speak up to your nurses and doctors and tell them what’s going on, but when you do, you are labeled as difficult. The patient is not the priority. I wish they had better training to teach their nurses to treat their patients the way they would want to be treated or their loved ones to be treated. I felt unheard, hurt, embarrassed, and Traumatized by the time I left the hospital. I will never use them or recommend this hospital. Something needs to change. This was the third terrible experience I had there. When I had my amputation. The surgeon and anesthesiologist spoke to me for quite a while about my care. I was told I would have a pain block, but I woke up without one. I was in terrible pain and my family asked why I didn’t have it. They were told it was taken off the board. Asked to speak with my doctor, but he had left. I asked if they could call someone. The nurse said, âAbsolutely not!â When my surgeon came back in, he was furious. I had laid there in excruciating pain for two days. When they finally sent me for a block, it wasnt working, but they didn’t believe me. I was sent home and ended up going into shock and rushed back to the hospital. Sure enough, I was not getting the pain meds because there was a kink in the tube. Most of the nurses are great, but the heads and several are so unkind. I’m a grown woman and was humiliated and made to feel worthless at a time I needed support and care. It’s even embarrassing to talk about.

Both ED and post op facilities and staff were top notch. The staff and facilities are clean, bright, well arranged, soothing and comfortable.
