D. C. nowadays? More than in the past. Hooray for us! In 40 years of practice, I’ve had 5 directly referred. Do you know what was found when I turned around and sent them back to the hospital with a request for them to do a lateral lower back X-ray? Arteriosclerosis in the aorta. Oh, and an AORTIC ANEURYSM just waiting to break.
Your hospital missed something. I believe they missed the aneurysm and concerned themselves ONLY with the arteriosclerosis. Good God, you can tell by her voice, her words, her inability to understand that SOMETHING was going on.
