I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great specialists and the nursing care is first class. Make it your first choice.

Had a very good experience in the emergency services

Severely understaffed, I got a UTI both times I’ve been here this year because the staff were not taking me to the toilet often enough. I under no circumstances would recommend going to this hospital because they don’t have nearly enough staff and a very bad staff to patient ratio. The hospital needs to hire more staff.

I have never been to such a run down private hospital. Renovations should be a priority.

Stayed 7 nights all the nurses were efficient and caring , some more straightforward than others. Keith was a standout. Would not hesitate to be a patient at this hospital again … but hopefully won’t need anymore hospitalisation.

I came into the hospital via ED and was stuck there waiting for a room. But once I reached Ward 47 the staff were always happy, pleasant, efficient and professional. When i needed pain meds they were generally quick and I always knew that if they were delayed there was a patient in more trouble than I was. I cannot thank the staff enough for making my stay as comfortable as they could.

The nursing staff are overworked and underpaid. The hospital food leaves a lot to be desired. One of the female hospitality staff tried to educate me with regard to sugar diabetes and diet. I told her that she is neither my doctor nor my dietician and to pull her head in. Apparently I'm an ignorant shovenist pig.

Whilst on holidays in Tasmania in May I fell and broke my ankle in 3 places. Once back in Brisbane my ankle needed surgery. I had the wonderful orthopaedic surgeon Dr. David L. Miller and his wonderful team for my surgery. I was admitted to Ward 45 and I can honestly say what a great team/staff on this ward. From the moment I was admitted to my lovely room staff were there attending to me and asking if I needed anything for pain etc.... Night and day shift staff were absolutely wonderful caring, polite and attentive. The PCA Neil on this ward was so caring and attentive, nothing is ever an effort for him. And I can truly say the meals were lovely, nothing was too much effort. I was discharged on the Saturday morning but, had to wait for my medication for 4hrs. Just one area where this needs to be looked at is the waiting for pharmacy. Overall thank you Greenslopes for your professionalism and wonderful service. Keep up the great work that you all do. Thank you.

As a RN I am very pleased to say from my lifetime experience of hospitals all over the world this entire hospital is a world class afacility. My husband was in Greenslopes Private Hospital for 8 weeks. During this time I got to know the hospital and staff extremely well. The entire staff was at all times professional, caring and supportive to both my husband and I. They showed deep empathy and compassion whilst maintaining a positive attitude towards their relationship with their patients. At all times we were kept informed of every aspect of the proceedings before, during and after any and everything that took place. Any time day or night the staff was approachable and not at stage did they not take time to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I would personally like to thank all the staff and volunteers not only on ward 41 but throughout the hospital for everything that they did for my husband and myself during our time at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
