This hospital needs to review the doctors they have employed. I have had two terrible experiences in emerg, not sure who to be more concerned about, the doctor named Keiffer who seemed to be playing doctor, or the hospital that's not monitoring them! I will drive further next time to avoid this amateur mess of a place. If you are sick, drive on. It could save your life.

My Husband went to the emergency room with a shoulder injury he was not seen in the 7 hrs he was there. Not one nurse or doctor came to see if he was in pain he decided to leave due to the lack of care that they give at that hospital. 5other people also left during the time he waited. The room he was in had blood around the bed that he was in. If this is health care as we know it we are in trouble.

My grandfather was discharged to Hanover hospital this year from another hospital. His discharge plan was ignored and he was provided with no post-operative rehab or support services, and nursing care appeared non-existent. Even if the facility could not provide this care, it should have been acknowledged that they could not at that time so an appropriate plan could be developed. Despite his post operative confusion, all information was only shared with him and little to no effort was taken to inform his wife or family regarding care decisions. No conversation on POA appeared to have occurred. I had to search for staff when I had a question on care or to obtain an update, and staff were dismissive and answered before knowing who I was speaking about. As someone who works in health care, I was appalled at the process I observed, and also that people are likely being discharged to LTC rather than home as a result of poor service.

Hospital is filthy dirty , Never had any problems with Doctors Some of the nurses are not nice at all I came in through the night cause it felt like a elephant sitting on my chest The nurse who assess me told me to shut up and not speak unless I was being spoken to I am afraid sometime cause I don't know how I will be treated Even though I wasn't haven't heart problems I was having a severe panic anxiety issues

For the past st 3 weeks I have to emerg for problem burning It got to the point I was s being overwhelmed n sca red.. At age 70 n living alone it can b a hard go..Last Monday morning I connected with a Dr,Mellish ..resident do for.. She went a.n conferred with other doctors..There diagnosis led to a positive diagnosis. Prescription they decided on led to overnight reòsults..I have had for good night sleeps n za in n discomfort as almost gone away…Wmhat a relief..Thanks all your staff for their diligence n excellent bed side major.. Come here if you want to die. i had a seizure disorder after anhead injury and i told them it was epilepsy for three months. They kept telling me it was anxiety and the seizures kept getting worse and worse to the point i was sleeping in my parents car overnight and they wouldn’t believe or help me. I will never go to this hospital again. They also prescribe anxiety and depression medication like its candy without telling you the natural options first. I had a friend saying he was a little down when they wanting to give him a brain altering medication before telling him how to hange his life positively natural first. This place is evil and they would rather give you a bandaid fix then help cure your problem for good.

I honestly can’t believe that they only have 2 1/2 stars. I was in for day surgery yesterday and the surgical department was fantastic. The lady on the registration desk (switch board) answered the phone and had a non-medical conversation. I was kind of frustrated she didn’t return the call when there wasn’t people waiting.
