Worst hospital. One doctor insisted on amputating brother's right thumb,he left and went to another hospital and his thumb is perfectly fine. Wow, horrible experience.

This is by far one of the worst hospitals and staff. My dad has come here for surgery, none of the nurses could speak English. They claimed to only know how to speak French. How can someone who doesn't know English and French be working in a hospital with people of different languages. Nor did they even try to accommodate the language barrier. Useless hospital. The only good was the doctors and few nurses and that's it

Notre Dame hospital visit. I was triadged by a nurse and I saw an Emglish speaking woman who was angry at me because I was suffering anxiety and couldnt board my train to return to Ottawa where I live. I didnt wait to be seen. I was very upset with the comment, why didnt you board the train with your anxiety attack? I got angry and she got angry and stormed out of the room. This was terrible on her part. How do they treat persons in mental distress with anger?

This place is a big joke . The ” nurses ” think they are big shi* . Calm down it’s the hospital of the rejects . This hospital should be either shut down or the human resources should really do a follow up on their staff .

As a hospital, the system works well, and doctors and nurses gave excellent medical treatment. The exception is that the service of two nurses at EM left a bad impression. I stayed there for two days, I contacted several nurses, and most of them talked to me nicely even with a smile, but one male and one female nurse there shouted at me rudely with frozen faces, when I stepped into their office for updates about my family member, it seems that was the way they get used to deal with patients because I did not make any mistake and there was no language barrier. Additionally, as a first-time visitor, nobody explained to me where to start and the function of the office and the window at EM. So based on the service of the two nurses, I really doubt their professional qualifications as a nurse.

My week long stay in this hospital was a horror show. Not only did the staff and nurses fail to help me when I was most vulnerable and literally incapacitated, they mocked and mistreated me. B/c of their neglect, my condition became critical. I left without being discharged and went to another hospital: This is what SAVED MY LIFE. I have heard many similar stories from other patients and their family members. This hospital should be held criminally liable. Also, very racist and anti-Anglophone. Go anywhere else if you have a choice!
