We asked to speak to house supervisor over major concerns about the lack of care our brother was getting. The house supervisor refuses to speak to us and sent security instead. HORRIBLE hospital.

Horrible service and communication from medical staff and doctors. No communication between them, no attempt to make discharge easier for the patient. Just bad care and plan all around.

Basically a training hospital for Oklahoma University students. They spend more time grab assing each other and joking around with each other than worring about there patients. This is in the emergancy room. Once admitted for a surgery and spent 9 days there and the staff was much more professional once you get past the ER jokers.

I have been to this hospital twice. I don’t know anything or can’t give a review about this hospitals heart institute since I have not been there. But the Emergency room is OK, I wouldn’t say great, but it is clean at least while I was there. I was lucky enough to get a nice Dr and RN’s that did help me. But when I went in for the Psychiatric part….One of the worst experiences ever. They evaluated me and I explained I was. Stressed out, Depressed, didn’t have hopes for the future and explained to them that my primary care FAMILY Doctor told me to go to them and get the proper help and medication that I needed, After they stuck me with 3 IV’s they told me their beds were full and they were not admitting me. And that I already had medication through my family dr, I said yes, I do but I need to see a psychiatrist the lady saif oh well we can’t help you, your being discharged go see your family dr, I repeatedly said he is not a Psychiatrist!!! I need help. These people wont help you.

I went to Hillcrest ER for sever abdominal and back pain. I sat in the waiting room for about an hour before I was even evaluated by the nurse and got my braclet. I was then sent back to the waiting room, this is of corse regular procedure. I waited another 3 hours before being escorted to an open shared room that had 2 large curtains that stopped just bellow the top of the mattress. They felt on my abdomen, did a pelvic exam, and had me pee in a cup. They found nothing, sent me home with Rx for 3 days of antibiotics and some weak pain meds. I ended up back a week later with the same problems, but in worse pain. It’s the hospital my doctor is based out of so I went, again. This time. I was in tears and couldn’t stand up strait. I proceded to wait 2 1/2 hours, then was told I had 2 people ahead of me. They then came out and called 3 people back, 2 of which showed up an hour after I got there. I asked the nurse again, and was told I was 2nd in line. So I left, and will not go back there.

The care was fabulous. They forgot to clean my room though. Thank Goodness for Kamisha Walker. She is on third shift housekeeping once she found out that it was not being taken care of she didn't over the top job and made sure it was taken care of there after.
