Absolutely the worst possible ER I've ever been to in my life. Took my wife in for extremely high blood pressure, so high her GP Dr sent us there immediately. Waited 7.5 hours to hear the complete opposite from the ER Dr as the GP Dr. She said there was âmisinformation about what dangerous blood pressure is.â I guess the American Heart Association is putting out false or misinformation. I have lost so much confidence in the medical field because Dr.s like her.

Huntsville Hospital Madison's ER has got to be the worst ER in the United States. In 6 hrs they have only taken back 2 patients. Keep in mind that this Hospital doesn't do trauma. All trauma goes to Huntsville Hospital Huntsville campus. So why is it taking this long! I along with a few thousand other people would like to know this. ER Ditect maybe? Probably! Dropping the ball starts at the top in my book.

As a healthcare worker myselfâ¦this staff is absolutely disgusting and so disrespectful. I'm so tired of how some staff think they are god. I would NEVER treat or speak to people the way this staff does. For the comments below saying they think they're amazing were you on crack when you saw them????

My husband was in Huntsville Hospital 2 time in March. The first time, he was having trouble breathing and we sat in the ER waiting room for hours. I went to the desk and told them he felt like he was going to pass out. They did nothing. The staff at the desk were rude and uncaring but the nurses on the floor where he was admitted were great. The second time he was transported by ambulance and that avoided the wait. He was admitted both times. The second time the nursing staff was neglectful. He requested his daily meds for a day and a half before he got them. Huntsville Hospital needs new management. It is a terrible excuse for a hospital.

Horrible!! We waited for 14 hrs and still never seen a Doctor, no MRI or X-ray was done in the entire time. Husband was there for a possible ruptured disk. Staff was rude and seemed proud to keep repeating its normal to wait 10-14 hrs to be seen.

It was AWEFUL!!! Had to sat outside in a makeshift waiting area for over 4 hours because they only allowed 1 person on the waiting room. When finally called back we waited over 6 hours before the dr. came in!! I wouldn’t take a stray dog there to be checked out!

Do not go to ER here! This is the 2nd time in 3 days. The mask ð· thing make you sit outside no matter the weather. My wife has been in server pain for 4 days and keep sending her home. About to drive to Vandibelt

I wish I didn’t have to give one star awful awful place. Bad enough the way I was treated in that place last yr. Then my pop’s has to go in. They almost killed him. Rm was filthy. They drugged him so bad. Needles laying around in his room was in there 7 days no bath. Put diapers on him he has dementia but he has always went to the restroom. That’s just their way of getting out of doing a job they was not feeding him this place needs to be shut down and don’t even bother to call the head nurse she’s just as bad as the rest I don’t even know where to begin with this place and I have pictures to post everything I said garbage cans overflowing syringes laying around in the room in a room where a man has dementia now yall think about that. I said when I got out of the hospital last year I would never go back and I meant that from myself but then he was put in there so I went up to see him and what I seen was awful. They going to mess with the wrong person’s family member and something very bad is going to happen at that hospital. Never again Huntsville hospital you had your last chance and I’m telling everyone do not take your loved ones in there they were a antipsychotic medicine that only family members can sign for you to be given this medicine and that wasn’t done they were slowly killing him.. why would you take one of your loved ones there a family member when I take my fur baby to a better place than that to get it shots or whatever it needs so I’m telling everyone leave this hospital alone and let them fold. It needs to be shut down……

They do not honor private medical information. They will make decisions without your approval even though you are medical power of attorney Do not honor patient confidentiality
