The hospital is the worst Iv ever been. Came to emergency with father in law throwing up massive amount of blood and clots. Upon arrival had 2 EMT came to our truck to get him however, was blowed away that they actually made him walk in the hospital rather getting him wheelchair. I heard him tell the EMT he had to sit but they continue walking him in. He was bad enough that he was sent to St. John’s. Amen to the nurses on 3rd floor but the emergency dept….so non professional.

Our health care system is a joke. Don’t go to JPMH, you’ll wait literally forever. Staff is rude and you have people who shouldn’t be working as doctors as doctors ! They all need to go back to medical school if you ask me

BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN IN GANDER - you just might have to come here. I write this in hour 6 of waiting with the same 4 people in triage. I'm told that there's one single (highly incompetent) doctor working right now, in a town of 12,000. As I sit here with a broken foot in a wheelchair, I find it seriously impressive the level of ridiculous this place is. I have not been offered ice, so my girlfriend has had to rip up a garbage bag and get it from a drink machine nearby. They've called two names since the sun went down, which by now was hours and hours ago. Al those before us had no obvious ailments, no sneezes, coughs, or injuries. One lady who came out after nearly an hour said the doctor was a moron and did nothing for her...despite taking up enough time to finish a couple episodes of whatever this crap on the tv is. I read the 1 star reviews before I came in her, but...wow. This is the first time I've ever left a review on something, it's that bad. THIS is the healthcare system our taxes pay for?

A animal gets better care at a vet then a human at our Gander hospital. Triage are very rude and defensive when asked a question and do ot like it if your family doctor sends you there for an emergency.. I waited Sunday night for over 6hrs just to have to leave so I could take pain pills at home because of the amount of pain in my lower back. Came back next day on my family doctors orders because my disc maybe blown in toward the spinal cord with a chance of paralysis, explained my 7 disc that are herniated and my condition and again, waiting area sitting with all the pressure compacting my disc for almost 3hrs!!! Great patient care central health and Minister Haggie....USELESS!!

They need to realize that they are dealing with peoples lives and if they were not in Newfoundland where people sue people more they would treat people with respect rather than like animals
