Please tell me which one of drs gave Dr Craig somerville permission to try to remove a 1 cm carsonoid tumour from my small intestine, endoscopically, 5 yrs ago? Because that’s what he tried to do to me and failed caused internal bleed and 5 yrs later he still hasn’t fixed his incompetence and due to my growing frustration he has now refused to even do anything, this Dr is the reason I’ve rated you so poorly.

They lose a star for the generally inedible and bland cooked food. I notice that their comments form has not one question about their food – I now understand why. Every other service is A1 for which mantnthanks.

Worst experience of our life!!!! Before I say why we encounter some lovely, hard working and nurses and doctors. This saying;- one apple spoils the whole bunch is the best way to put this. The inconsistencies of nursing care from one shift to the next, often this came from bad handovers and others who just had there way of doing things, had no knowledge of the patient and why they were admitted to hospital nor any idea of existing medical conditions that could be made worst by a perceived way of nursing. Medications written up wrong even after providing a bag of current medications. Administrative staff not up to date on the correct visiting hours, policing visitors and trying to enforce old COVID visitor rules no longer applicable. And of course there are those who speak out of turn causing anxiety and distress advising patients what will happened to them when they leave if they can not go home without any consultation with family, giving wrong discharge dates I could go on and on. Overall all of this and so much more has impeded my parents recovery and created nothing but undue stress, anxiety to everyone who is coping with the loss of what a life looked liked before having a stroke and then stand by and watch someone you love dearly lose all hope and confidence in those who are looking after them and with whom we entrusted to care for the one most dear to family. I know this review will probably make little difference to those in charge and or to those who would be best suited to selling fast food as opposed to working in a field that requirements a level of compassion.

I've just received an email from my Health provider stating that John Flynn Hospital will terminate an agreement with one of a main health provider on 2nd August this year . As a previous and ongoing patient because health issues this is upsetting -this is the only Private Hospital from nearly mid NSW to the border. How can you justify such a large fee increase as standards for care for myself have been below average.

Fantastic hospital, a brilliant specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Paul Mednis, food was quite good, all nurses were very caring except for a couple they were very businesslike with get the job done quickly and get out. Physio and support was excellent, Pre admission was quite disappointing it was get you in and get you out as quickly as possible. All in all a very good experience but like some businesses the odd individual drags the quality of service down.
