99.99% of the staff is friendly, compassionate and caring. The rooms are a little small and the building is old. It could use a little update. My overall stay wasn’t that bad. I had a few issues at first with long wait times for someone to answer my call light while sitting in stool for 30 minutes. But I will say while I got sick with sepsis and a clot in my arm the staff flung into action. Only thing I would change is adding more CNAs. They usually have 10 patients which is a lot. They work very hard

I was in a very challenging situation with my condition when I arrived at Kindred Hospital. I was on the ventilator life support machine. Overtime, with the help of all the kindred clinical staff and doctors, I was able to wean off the ventilator machine. Eventually I was able to have my trach breathing tube airway removed which was amazing. I know it is going to take more time for my legs and arms to regain full strength again, but I will take I have for now a build on it. I really liked to the puree food that was suitable for my diet. They dietary department did a great job helping me with my nutrition so that I could keep my strength up. The housekeeping department was great and kept things clean all the time. I would like to thank Kindred for believing in me.

Entire staff did an excellent job getting me back to health and getting me well enough to go closer to home! I appreciate the cleaning crew, rehab and respiratory always checking on me and keeping me and my room clean and healthy. I am grateful for the kind and caring staff that gave me hope in getting better. Thank you Kindred Team for your compassion. Dennis Harrington
