My overall experience here has been very positive. There have been several nurses and others who have made my stay exceptional. When I have needed help they have been there for me in ways I would not have expected. The people who have been so special in the way they care for me have been Lolo, Sony, Chris T, Metrice, Uche, Thomas and Maria from PT. And Rene the dietician has been great. He has went out of his way to make sure I've been pleased with my meals. Thank you to all for the great care. M. Sterling

Very disappointed in care of my husband, a retired physician. SUPER slow response to call button; I know because initially he was unable to use his arms and was choking. I had to run to the nurse's station in a panic and ask for help. Even then, the attending physician sitting at the desk didn't budge, and the nurse didn't respond. I ran back to the room, pounded on his chest and back 'til he stopped choking...followed by a slow-walking nurse! It happened again when I wasn't there and he was able to use his arms. After not getting a response from the call button, he threw his water canister against the door and got their attention! Most of the time, the room was clean, but when husband had a sudden, drastic b/p drop, those who attended him left the room a total disaster, with papers, gloves, and trash all over the room, which wasn't cleaned up for hours, even after I requested a housekeeper.

All of the people at Kindred have been so nice. They have helped me with everything I have asked for, with a smile on their face. My physical therapist Andrea and Jaylann have been great. They are patient and kind. They treat me like I'm one of their own family. The nurses are also very sweet and helpful. The CNA Latanya has been so sweet. If I call, she is here. She is always checking on me to see if I'm ok and if I need anything. I am so thankful for such nice people who Are so patient and caring. Lillie Jones

Methodist Hospital following heart surgery sent my mother across to Kindred to die. Another doctor got her out of there just in time and saved her life for a few months. Had an argument with the physician assigned to her and who we’d never met nor known of. Finally got her out of there.

This is one of the best hospitals I’ve ever been in. I had one issue and I spoke up about it and it was fixed immiediatelty. All of the peole here have been so nice. The wound care nurses are great. There were some people who I just fell in love with. Brigie, Bridgette, and Natosha were outstanding. They took good care of me, helping with with all of the things I needed. These 3 have hearts of gold. I really enjoyed there company during my stay. Vanessa B.

Never take your loved one to this facility
Bad experience with Mom Doctors don’t care , They ordered procedures and medication without looking at the patient record or condition- total mis management
My mom passed away over there because of these woodoo doctors who doesn’t follow simple ethics to be a doctor Their negligence lead to my moms death
They even left foley and ivy line and did not bother to take them off

THIS FACILITY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE ELDERLY. THEY TELL AN 85 YEAR TO PUSH BUTTON BUT WHAT IF THEY CANT MOVE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO TAKE THEIR PARENTS THERE AND I CANNOT BELIEVE METHODIST HOSPITAL RECOMMENDED THIS FACILITY AND HAD MY FATHER TRANSFERRED THERE ANT 8:00 PM.
