I'm a patient at kindred Flamingo Hosptal and my name is Kevin in room 628. Over the past 8 months I've been in and out of the hospital with heart failure . Over the past 8 months I've retained 140 pounds of water . The doctors found away to get the water off but I couldn't walk at that time. Thanks to Kindred I met a. Lady name Debbie who gave me a gift basket and I'm 6 feet tall and 59 years old with her kindness she welcomed me to Kindred and when she left my room I cried to my sister cause it touched me so much. The nurses were wonderful to me in ICU . Doug the Pt came in the next day to evaluate me and I was afraid cause in 8 months I hadn't been up . The way he talked to me gave me the strength to know I was going to be ok. Now I'm walking 4 times up and down and he praised me . OT was just as nice and my Doug but without OT I wouldn't be able to move my arms. My leadership person Debbie comes and checks on me even when I moved to med sure so you better keep her cause she is so spunky . I was down one morning cause I had to get my Cather out but when Debbie came in she made me so happy . I am a testament that I am sitting up right now for 5 hours and I can't believe it. People take walking for granted and I can say don't cause you can be walking one day and the next not. Thank you Kindred Flamingo so much that I want everyone to know how wonderful u guys are.

I want to say I have done PT before but since I've been working with this young guy JR he has taught me knew things and works with me a lot. I am a patient at kindred flamingo hospital and my name is Chaz Witt and I'm in room 620-B . This hospital staff has been fantastic the nurses Joy, Alicia, Xeel, Vern are very helpful and there are many more can't remember their names. All these nurses always explain things and I do ask a lot of questions. The CNA Joe, Loren, Savana , are just a few names I remember who have been wonderful too me. They always make sure I never have any break downs on my body . Rehab staff- Doug, Molly, latisha have been fantastic . They never push me to go down to the gym when I'm not feeling good and I really like that. I have been down to the gym since I've been here and Doug really worked with me to walk and I did. I think I even surprised him. Respitory - Nelson, and some of the other employees have been great . They make sure I get my breathing treatment and look after me. Housekeepers-Juanita, Mary, and America have kept my room very cleaned. They come in all the time to clean and make sure my room is clean. America always comes in with a smile on her face. Leadership-Debbie is excellent !! She has always been my life saver every time I'm a patient here even when I was on the other side of the hospital she always made sure she. Came to check on me. She isn't only my advocate she is also my friend now. Thank you Flamingo for taking pride in what you do for the patients.

My name is Mr Everson and I’ve been here at Flamingo hospital for a couple of weeks now. I would like to say thank you to all the staff that took great care of me. Thank you to the Rehab Team that came to work with me to get me stronger so that I can get to the next place I need to go for more Rehab . Thank you to Lisa the CNA who made sure I was getting cleaned and taken good care of. Thank you to Debbie for always coming in and checking on me and talking to my wife and me all the time. Kindred has a lot of great folks that work here. I am getting discharged today.

My name is Dean in room 622-B at Kindred Flamingo hospital. I would like to tell people how good this place has taken care of me. From the kitchen with the good food that has been given to me. The CNA Lisa during the day has been a real charm. The only thing I could suggest that they keep up better with the white board cause it’s very helpful to know who the nurse is cause I do forget their names but besides that the care has been excellent. I want to say thanks to my Chicago girl Debbie who is always a lot of fun to talk with as she makes me laugh all the time. I’m sure I’ll be getting discharged soon so I wanted to write something about my experience here at Flamingo . Thank you.

I’m a patient at kindred flamingo hospital and have been here for a few weeks. I believe I’m being discharged either today or tomorrow. My stay here has been good and everyone has been very nice to me. My Nurses, Wound care Team, have all been very nice.
