Kindred Hospital in North Kansas City is set up to take patients money, and to provide patients with the minimal care that they can. All the heavy work is done by nursing students from the Concord Medical School, and the trained staff spend their time on their cellphones at the nursing stations, ignoring the needs of their patients. Our family member was left in their own crap and piss for hours on end. No way to call a nurse and was not given life saving medication on time. Caseworkers are the same. They are very well versed as to what to say to the families of patients to insure them, when they know down inside that nothing was going to be done what was happening. If you complain to much, they will ship off your loved one to Hospice, without notification, and then make sure they you cannot have contact with loved ones. One day they will have to answer for what they did, and did not do. We are currently in conversations with a local law firm, and we plan to move forward with a class action lawsuit.

I have a family member that was sent there for rehab. The staff his not tired to work with her at all. The staff is a bunch of medical students that are just looking to pass their exams so the they can move on to a REAL facility where more money is involved.
There is no communication between shifts, and staff is quick to tell you what you want to hear, and not following through with anything they promise. I am deeply disappointed in this hospital.
They do not truly care about heir patients and I am really starting to believe that the reviews on line are done by staff member and not actual patients or family members. I would not take a dog here.
