ridiculous that nothing will be done regarding Kirkland Lake Doctors
my son was misdiagnosed regarding broken fingers, first time they said it wasnt broken, went to timmins hospital and they confirmed it was broken, second time they said he broke his thumb, went to Timmins |Hospital again and they xrayed and showed it wasnt broken.
i wwent to emergency dept after injuring my hand that had severe breaks two years before and the female doctor who stood 10 feet away declared it was carpal tunnel system, i went to leave and she verbally got annoyed at me because i asked if he training included across the room diagnosis.
yesterday i took my son in who had an ear ache and a very sore and swollen big toe
even though they said he may have gout she ignored that i told her there is a family history of bunions. she prescribed Diclofenac as an anti inflammatory, (and no blood test) which even the pharmacist was surprised about, stating there was much more specific medication for gout. this resulted in him having a significant allergic reaction and going to a different hospital for treatment.
that hospital had no idea why that would be prescribed !!!
when is enough enough………time for administration to stop protecting Doctors who make way to many mistakes

Just check out my google review. Absolute worst hospital I've ever been to. Too many nurses and doctors laughing and chatting, meanwhile people are waiting in emergency... They literally told my pregnant partner who was bleeding "call Telehealth". Absolutely wildly absurd. I'm 100% calling the Ombudsman and my lawyer Monday morning.

So everything started out pretty fine, people were nice, staff seemed like they knew what they were doing in emerg, my husband was admitted last night those nurses seemed to be ok as well. Fast forward to today.... I get there every one is super kind then we get told my husband is being transfered to the ICU ok thats fine barely a description as to why other then potassium being a bit high and he needs to be closely monitored fine thats great BUT then the nurse from hell came in with the worst attitude I've ever seen from a person being extremely rude to be for no reason telling me I should be here , how did I get up here , and the tone in her voice was just disgusting. Requesting a transfer was just a question but now I have major issues with this place, if this woman is going to be my husband's nurse with that kindof horrible attitude how do I know she's going to do ANY proper care. Were not even from this area so making us feel welcome in a scary time should be taught in the schooling when taking this as your job.

I was en route to the hospital in an ambulance and the doctor just left. When the ambulance arrived, I was told to go home or wait in the emergency department for several hours until a doctor arrived in the morning. I went home, removed some stones from my bowel myself, stopped the bleeding and survived. But don't get sick late at night or first thing in the morning in Kirkland Lake. If get to the emergency department, there will be no doctor to see you.

What hospital would admit you and make you wait a week and a half just for a colonoscopy? Yup, This Place! Avoid! Go to New Liskeard or Timmins Hospital!
