I recently had to have several surgeries for breast cancer. The facility was modern, clean and well-staffed. Everyone was well-trained, and my stay was as pleasant as could be, under the circumstances. I am grateful for the kind care that I received.

Went to the ER for extreme abdominal pain. Staff were very nice. Sadly I had to wait an hour cause the CT machine was booked full of people with more serious injuries. The nurse forgot to give me the call button, but was very friendly and attentive. After finding the issue the medication I was given almost immediately made me feel 90% better.

Spent 16 days at LDS in 2016. I was diagnosed with adrenal gland cancer. A rare cancer. The surgeon told me the tumor was too large to remove. They gave me 4 to 6 months to live. The oncologist was rude and non compassionate. He also had almost no experience I that type of cancer in 30 years. The female surgeon wouldn’t even listen to me when I asked for a second opinion. I was very very sick and could advocate for myself. They sent me to live in a hospice. Instead of dying I actually got better after I quit the chemo. Finally 14 months later After I finally got to Huntsman Cancer Hospital the wonderful surgeon there removed my tumor and we believe got all the cancer. Still cancer free. If I had be,ieved the first surgeon at LDS I would have died. She made an incorrect diagnosis. I will never go back there. And they incorrectly billed medical bills and didn’t submit them to my insurance. The nurses were nice but a couple of the Dr’s were not very professional or nice. Food was also bad.
