I went in for a gastroscopy and the nursing staff was phenomenal- they were so kind and understanding. I had Dr. MacEachern and Dr. Balko in the procedure room and they immediately made me feel at ease. They were both so genuine and caring, and Dr. Balko and was so kind and explained everything to me, answered my multiple questions with humor and understanding. I felt very grateful to have had the team that I did looking after me. Thank you so much

The wait was long… over 5 hours, but to be expected at any hospital in Alberta right now. However , once I got into a room, I received all tests within an hour and 1/2. Dr. Lin was attentive and definitely knew knows his medicine. The nursing staff was caring and responsive even though they were short staffed. No hospital visit, especially through Emergency, is ever fun, but the staff at Leduc definitely worked as a team and made my experience better because of it.

My wife went into the emergency yesterday in excruciating pain in her eye and head. The staff right from admitting clerks to triage nurses and Dr. Mohit Vohra were amazing. She was there for almost four ours but it wasn’t without care. Each of the staff were making sure that they were making the right decisions on the diagnosis, appropriate treatments and administering medication appropriately. During times in the emergency in our 65 years we would rate this emergency staff as some of the best health care professionals we are privileged to have in our province.

The dust on cellings, curtain edges, airducts high up on walls and sprinkler heads is unreal. I was on my back for 24hrs and watched dust chunks float down. This is so unhealthy. I pointed it out to the staff and they all new how dirty they were. Clean starts in a room from the celling down to the floor. This is so unsanitary. For everyone there. Don’t just clean what you can see, clean everything.

I had day surgery. Absolutely the most horrible experience ever. The staff do not seem to be the problem as they try to do what they can seemingly being overworked themselves with limited resources. Cleanliness and a SANITARY environment is definitely not a priority once so ever. I have never seen anything like it. It is beyond beliefs that they are operating like that and not the least surprised to find out they have had frequent covid outbreaks. Definitely not recommended for children’s care. Post my experience I immediately had sorrow for anyone that had to experience this facility with a sick child or elderly. I am very surprised Health Canada hasnt had a review of the practices of this facility and large failure do to align with national standards for the health care system through the Canada Health Act.

I’ll never go back. This hospital went from the best to the worst. I and 3 other patients walked out.
