Dirtiest hospital even worse then calgary. Your nurses and Doctors are rude. especially emergency. You let natives who are brought in by security go in before others who have been waiting for hOURS and then your triage nurse gets mad at you. HOW IS THAT FAIR BECAUSE THEY ARE NATIVE. They cause more problems then anyone . It’s not just once in awhile it’s everytime I’m there. May I also include I got an infection from He hospital after my hysterectomy. Your hospital should be sued. You may think you know it all because you make 50 an hour. But that’s not the case none of you have a f****** clue what you are doing. Maybe your nurses should be treated unfairly. We understand your tired and overworked but that is no excuse for your actions. I’m specifically talking about the middle aged ones. Did you ever think that’s why you have no staff left. Give your a head a shake and learn some respect because one of these days the publicity is going to fight back and it’s coming soon. O RATING ON EVERYTHING . Double 0 for your nurses and rude staff. It’s not our fault your overworked. Stop taking it out on the public and do you ur damn job. END RANT.

I get it that security needs to do their job, but there is doing your job and then there is being a jerk. A certain ‘guard’ at the front needs a little lesson on how to talk with people. Wow, did I have a horrible experience today. And then, the woman proceeds to lie and say I called her names and was bullying her. Nothing could be further from the truth. By the time I got to my oncologists exam room, I was in tears. Not because I am weak, but when under that stress, my anxiety went through the roof. And she also told me that she alone has the power to stop me from accessing my needed cancer care. I have never been so attacked,…ever!

The filthiest place I have ever stayed. Was in for 2 weeks recovering after major surgery earlier this year. The nurses were so uncaring. They seemed like they were bothered just to be doing their job. Unpleasant, dirty practices and rude. The rooms were ONLY swept daily and that was not even a good job. I had bandaid and gause wrappers, candy wrappers and an old candy from day 1 still beside and under my bed when I left 2 weeks later. The garbages were only dumped and never had the bag taken out. There were used ostomy bags, vomit, blood dirt tissues in the garbages and never once were the bags changed in 2 weeks. There was no mopping of the room floors. There were no sanitizing of the bathrooms, rooms or nurses stations in the rooms in 2 weeks. I had stomach bile one the floor for the last five days and no one cleaned that up. There was a canister and tubing with my stoma bile in it leaking on the floor for the last 5 days with no cleaning. This is all in the recovery unit where there are so k people and open wounds everywhere. I have contacted everyone I can think of with complaints and reports of this horrible hospital. I felt so dirty when I was there and pray I never have to go back

I love the hospital in Lethbridge. Most of the physicians are caring and kind. The nurses are amazing. My only criticism would be if you even breathe you are depressed or something they put you in the rooms with the locked doors which look like prison cells. This can be very anxiety producing for someone who is suffering with a mental health problem.

I don’t know why most of the staff got into this profession. They are not a caring lot and kind of make you feel like you are bothering them. Husband went in for surgery and after I was told there is no bed for him. He was kept in recovery. Went back again and told the same thing. Although this second nurse was kind and told me she would call as soon as they had a room. No one ever called. They actually had a bed for him later that night. Then my husband was told they wondered what happened to him. They had his room waiting all day. No communication….
There was an accident in the washroom and I notified 2 different nurses over the course of 1 1/2 hours. Still not cleaned when he was discharged. I don’t wish to go into situation while he was in, but believe me when I say staff are uncaring and almost to the point of rude

The nurses are really loud. Shift change-over at 11pm are ostensibly voluminous social rather than medical handoffs. Some nurses have voice modulation issues. I was a very medically frail inpatient for well over a week and not once was I offered any mouth care, bathing, recommended bathing, or bathing items, skin care, encouragement for anything such as attempting to stretch in bed much less any encouragement to attempt to slowly resume ambulating. Using the call- bell only gets one in “trouble”. Almost always late for serious pen medication. 1 in 4 nurses are angels. Another 1 in 4 nurses are frankly mean. One half were simply average - collecting a pay check. Doctors infrequently visit. Hospitalists are next to useless, at least in neurology. Physicians, almost in any department, almost never perform a proper History: CC, proper HPI, PMH, current meds. Forget about a proper family and genetic history. Never asked about the OAT component of OATS (Occupation, unusual Activities and recent/repeated Travel). Forget about a ROS. A functional assessment of improvement or otherwise never took the place. As a physician, I was deeply disappointed, indeed embarrassed. Quite a terrible medical facility. The support staff: cleaners, dietary workers, etc. were the most professional. Overworked = myth.

The ER (desk-staff) sucks. Nurses on the 3rd floor should all be replaced . At the very least, closely supervised. It's like one big party going on most of the time. You can hear them laughing about certain patients when they request help. SHAME!

Dr Amir has got to be the worst ER doctor I have ever seen in my life. If you lack compassion for people, maybe you need to be in another field. Not only that, but your lack of knowledge is scary. Go to another ER if you want proper care.

The ER in this hospital is horrible - my daughter took her best friend in who is suicidal and asked for a psyc eval - they let them sit there for 5 hours - took several people in who had come in after them - and then proceeded to tell them they didn't have a bed for her. She had told the triage nurse that she had an idea of how to kill her self and she was just done being alive and these people basically ignored her. When they finally told the nurse they were going to leave she told them "to have a nice night" - no concern for my daughters best friend at all. If this girl kills herself - this hospital has set itself up to be sued for malpractice 100%. I would drive out of town to another hospital before I would ever go back here. This is disgracefull.
