I had a very bad experienced at this hospital this morning. I am having chest pain and pain in my left arm. I was sitting in the waiting area for a bed. The nurse in the triage department was very nasty to me. I took her photo and I am going to report her. If anything happens to me my children will go after LIJ.

I had a Laparoscopic Partial Nephectomy. Besides Dr. Kavoussi being top notch, the entire staff of the Urology floor exceeded my expectations throughout my hospital stay. Caring, helpful , competent nurses who come as soon as you press the call button. I have had other hospitalizations, but no experience nearly as comforting as this.

ONE OF MOST RECKLESS HOSPITALS IN AREA.16 years old school girl hits by the car as pedestrian, end up in emergency” with out having hard or soft cast on neck”.After 24 hours got discharged. Two days latter have tremendous amount of pain called ambulance from home ,end up in same hospital(because is nearest to her house)diagnosis with torn rotator cuff which was operated latter on, head injury.what kind of hospital would be so reckless and careless?

Absolutely the worse hospital ever. Very filthy, outdated, broken chairs, beds, and other equipment. Horrible rooms and beds. Dirty bathrooms. Lack of necessary accommodations like potties for children on pediatric division. Lack of communication between the doctors. Everyone says something different and when you speak up they make you feel like you are lesser then them because they are “doctors”. Never again I will come to this hospital. Poor facilities, poor care.

I’ve been to this hospital on 4 different occasions. Three were outpatient visits and one was a two night overnight stay for the delivery of our daughter. I loved this hospital. I think it was mainly due to the doctor’s I had in place. My 3rd surgery for gal bladder removal…pre-op was not too great. I sat there for hours, my surgery was majorly delayed, without an IV and then they expected me to pee. The care of the staff for the delivery of our daughter, was so-so. If it wasn’t for the few good ones in place, I would be complaining, but there were a few saints there. Overall, I prefer this hospital.

I am here with my 93 years old patient, waiting for already more that 7 hours. We are waiting for an orthopedist. When asked the staff no one can say when and who is going to come. Worse service ever. Luck of communication and empathy. Unfriendly and really "you are here because we bill you an arm and leg, but you are on your own". Don't ask questions because you bother us. Orthopedist Alex N. great doctor!!! worth waiting for.

I had a 6 hour outpatient test today. The facilities were absolutely horrifying. The front of the hospital is beautiful but when you get to the nuclear medicine area it is disgusting and dirty. The chairs are impossible to use for 6 hours straight! I suggest that the administration of the hospital be required to use them for 6 hours, then maybe there would be changes. I was in agony and unable to take any pain killers as I was unable to eat or drink. The bathroom is from the 1960s. With dirt caked in the corners of the room. The ladies room had two separate toilet seat cover holders-both of which were empty. The sink had no stopper in it, just a cavernous hole. The waiting area had the loudest noisiest vent I have ever experienced. It created a roaring sound in the room with the vent grill caked in grime. LIJ SHAME ON YOU! I will never return to this hospital and I will advise my doctor as well. I am sure that there will be no change though as it is obvious that no one there cares. The final icing on the cake- there is no seating at all outside to use while awaiting my car from valet. After being treated in this way I had to lean on my cane while the tears poured down my face. Again LIJ SHAME ON YOU!
