Very disappointing service, staff, and doctors have no strong knowledge and they certainly don’t care about patients. I will never go there again. Made me wait for 16 hours and saw the doctor for less than 10 min.

So disappointed in the care my son got, and the way we were treated at this hospital. The GI clinic was horrible.

I live 45 minutes from McMaster and won’t go anywhere else. I have brought both my sons here on two separate occasions and they were seen in a timely manner, treated with respect (I say this because at our local emerg they are not) and they were both treated for things our local doctors missed. My son was recently admitted and the care that he received was beyond what they had to do. They treated me with such compassion and understanding in such a scary time, they went above and beyond to find my sons monster school bus that he had lost and I can’t thank the doctors and nurses, X-ray techs, mri staff and ultrasound staff he saw there enough. They are attentive to the needs of the Patients and their families. Thank you

I went to see my God daughter who is in the care of the 4th floor nursing. She just lost her baby and has endured 4 surgeries to fix Dr mistakes. I wanted to get her out of bed to go to the bathroom and had her ring the nurse. As a PSW I know I can't move a patient without authority. The nurse came in and complained that with visitors why did she buzz the nurse. Why is she asking the nurse to get her walker and get her up (very rudely and unprofessional). We could have done it....we'll TECHNICALLY that's your Job Mrs. Horrible bedside manner nurse. I educated her as to myself being a PSW I know I can't walk into a room and drag a patient on several machine out of bed without knowing it's safe to do so. She then shut her mouth, but told the patient she was getting out of bed all wrong and doing a bad job of it. No kididng, thats their job to show her proper body mechanics after full abdominal surgery. Instead she stood telling the patient she wasn't doing it right, but made zero attempt to kindly educate her. She has been there a few days. In stead of being rude from walking into the room, try doing the job your paid to do. ZERO respect for a young grieving mother. Had it been my daughter as the patient she would have been physically tossed out of the room. Clearly they have zero respect for adult patience. I pity anyone who has he on duty. I'd never talk to my clients in such a rude condescending manor and not be fired. I wish I'd have had it recorded, pretty sure there would have been some serious retraining or discipline action. Just because you pass a course and can do a job, it doesn't mean your able to actually care enough about patients to carry the job out. I gave her a sponge bath as she was still in a gown with feces from the other day. If I go back up and see this behavior i will be asking to speak with the hospital admistration. Unacceptable treatment for anyone.

Yes, they will call CAS on you as a parent - when you question them on somethings that don't seem right - they do this to coerce you into doing the treatment they will get money from. Children bring in a lot of government money. Beware! More parents should speak up about this.

Worst experience, our social worker called cas on us using my wife's disability against us because she has epilepsy, stating that we are not safe parents.
