Horrible wait times, slow and uninterested staff. Saw over 8 people leave during my, so far 8 hour wait. You're better off driving to Miramichi or another city.

Filthy in every section I have ever been in. Rude and dismissive doctors in emergency room, particularly one male doctor currently working 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I believe this Hospital should be merged with Moncton City Hospital, however I do not see any way of doing this so I am writing a poor review in the hope that it catches someone attention and they can correct this.

I have worked at the Moncton Hospital for almost 6 years. If you knew what went on behind the scenes you would never go to this Hospital. Period. It is hit or miss. just as if you were gambling when you go there for help. The nurses sit at the computers on Facebook and the like while immobile patients go hungry or get left on the Toilet for very extended periods until the nurses feel like going to assist. I have personally viewed this on more that 100 occasions.

Inappropriate care and no treatment. Best to avoid.

I’m from Nova Scotia and have been in hospitals there over the years. When I moved to Moncton, I could not believe the lack of respect, professionalism, care etc. of this hospital staff! One time when I went to emergency, there was NO ONE at the admitting station NOR at the Tri Age room. I sat there for 20 minutes – no one came. The room was filled and one man was standing up gasping for breath and crying waiting at the station. I was there for major head pain (4 day migraine that got out of hand). I was in extreme pain -the pressure on my brain was incredible. My dr. tried meds to relieve the pain but nothing worked so she told me to go to emergency immediately. It was “unbelievable” what I witnessed there. Finally someone came ONLY because I went into the room futher and flagged a worker who was eating …asking her where the desk person or nurse was. Finally she paged someone – by then it was 25 minutes that the station was empty! I have more to say ..LOTS more…..
