I cannot believe this hospital is even allowed to operate understand you’re overwhelmed we all are but to treat people the way they treat people is quite disgusting

We pay by our taxes but the money diverted to pay high salaries in a dysfunctional hospital.
I can’t find one good thing about this hospital. They should be ashamed of themselves embezzling taxpayers money. It is the worst hospital I have ever gone to.

Very dissatisfied. I was treated poorly by the secretary, nurse and security guard. They made me feel like I was a nuisance when I was in pain.

I don’t think that many of the doctors know what they’re doing, or even care. I went into the hospital for drug rehab and was ignored for 18 hrs. No treatment, means acute withdrawls. Stay clear of this place.

The nurse at station 2 is a b!tch sorry. Incredibly cold, dismissive and unnecessarily rude. After waiting 3 hours I was experiencing spasms and intense pain on abdomen to which she recommended I take Tylenol and turn to my seat in an extremely rude manner as if I were a child. Never have seen a hospital that actively cares so little about its patients it’s truly baffling and leaves you speechless

I was in the trama Center yesterday having had a cycling accident. I have visited emergency rooms in Ontario multiple times over the years. The staff at Montreal General were wonderful. Professional, kind , attentive and checked out every possible problems with my injuries. I wish this hospital was here in Ontario. It may sound silly but this was my best ever emergency experience. I was worried about only speaking English but this was no problem. I can't thank the staff enough. A great emergency facility

INHUMANE and unsympathetic staff in this hospital!!!!! Totally lacking empathy and kindness in security staff and one female nurse. I would have put in zero or negative stars if there was such an option. My 92 old mother in law was placed at a gurney at the entrance right under two brightly shining fluorescent lights from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. She is immobile and need me to help to go to the bathroom every hour. My husband needs to be there to translate for her / that's why we both need to be there. When at around 11:00 pm brought her to the bathroom, afterwards we tried to turn to her gurney. We were refused access back by the security guard. They had to check with the reception until the found that my mother in law's gurney indeed is in that room that they allowed me to pass. That night, another gentleman on a gurney next to us needed help, I even offered to wheelchair him to the bathroom. We are being considerate to everyone in the emergency room.but we are human and need to sit down to rest a bit too. In the morning, the security guard said either one of us must leave. All night, ambulances with gurneys come in next to our bed, we had no space to sit. We have been up all night and have been moving our chair to allow other gurneys to pass by. The security guards are non-sympathetic and totally inhumane. My mother in law is incapacitated and need me to help her to go to the bathroom. My husband has to translate for my mother in law - so we both need to stay. The security insists that one of us must leave! I explained to the security guard but they refused to accept and insisted one of us must leave. Later the nurse came in and when we explained to her the situation, she was totally unsympathetic. There is no empathy or kindness in this hospital. I told both the security guard and the nurse that they might try to impose the rules, but empathy and kindness goes a long way. It's amazing how you put a uniform on someone and now when they perceive they have “power” and how inhumane they can be towards the weak and sick. I am totally disgusted and appalled by the unkind, thoughtless and mean attitude towards patients and their family members. If I could give negative stars, I certainly would. I am still in the hospital. If the doctors came and they refuse to allow me to go back into my mother in law's room, we would just pack our bags and leave. This is entirely infuriating!!!! The mindset of lower level staff reflect that of the higher administration level and the corporate culture. A little more empathy and kindness goes a long way!!! Can't believe that is not a priority. This is our first experience and also a very negative experience. Also it is extremely dirty - bathroom floors are full of urine, paper on the floor everywhere and the bathroom wreaks of urine smell. Simply put - disgusting!!

The floors had not be washed for 2 years so in 2022 she had the floors washed once I believe in March or April . Since than floors are still Dirty . We have plasma transfusions and the rooms are dirty and we do not want to get infections or diseases . I even bought a swifter wet mop to wash floors . It is not our nurse or our problem . The main hallways are always clean . Today I was in the waiting room on the seventh floor respiratory division , floors very clean there. I am shocked to say the least transfusion rooms are filthy, and are unacceptable . Anna Maria Biason Patient
