Today my husband drove 2 hours from Winnipeg to see his father who was transferred from Wpg to Neepawa Hospital due to a lack of beds in Winnipeg a week ago. He arrived 2 hours before visiting hours and due to the rigidity of the hospital personnel was refused from visiting his father. Drove back to Winnipeg heart broken. When did hospitals stop caring for patients and their loves ones/givers.

The nurses wouldn’t even give him his lunch pills that I sent with him. They gave him his blister pack and said here ya go. Pop them out himself. That is so not right when the guy is 75 years old and has Homecare and his son to give him his pills. Then when I got there the nurse asked me to wait in the car till he is out. Just the way she said it was RUDE! I will be not sending him back to this hospital. He go in quite often and the staff and Dr dont do nothing for him. Very poor staff and Drs.

Horrible hospital. If I only had a few minutes to live I’d have the ambulance drive me hours to the next available hospital because I would never go to this one ever again. Horrible staff. Lazy and moody staff and nurses. Doctors are lazy. I went in with a degloved finger. Put through a meat skinner and took all the skin off the end of my finger. Waited for over 2 hours bleeding in the waiting room. After I lost a few litres of blood and about to pass out they stuck me in a little closet away from the rest of the patients. The doctor that was to come in and see me was at a bbq and thought this was more important than someone who was bleeding out. After 3 phone calls from staff and 3 hours later he finally came in. And the attitude on this guy when he actually made it in. I will not put his name here but will b writing a review on him as well. Very sarcastic attitude from a caregiver. I would never see this doctor even if he was the last one on earth. Neepawa hospital has the worst staff
