After major spinal surgery 4 days later came down with covid. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care I was given.
    A very tough time.
Mentally I’m still suffering though I’m still here to tell the tale

I’m a teenager. I came to this hospital for an operation. The people here, no, they are not people, they are angels. Every singe person in this building was so kind to me, that I broke down in tears. After the operation, the nurses checked up on me every 40 mins. They puffed my pillow, added blankets and even wanted to go to the bathroom with me to make sure I don’t faint. The food here was made by gods themselves. I was so happy living for 2 days in this hospital, that I wanted to get sick again, so that I could come back here.

Bad service, expensive, I asked for something to eat been ignored, when I asked for a bottle of water I have been told I should brought my own, the room need tidy up and little bit of paint wouldn’t cost too much, very bad experience, not worth the money I paid

Very unhappy with the services. I was there last week for a day procedure and stayed overnight. When I entered through admission process, no one didn’t gave me the approximate plan for the day and the timings of my surgery. I was just in the admissions waiting room from 1:30 to 5:00 waiting for some one to attend me. When I was moved to special room from recovery room it was 8:30 in the night and the night nurse who was attending me said the kitchen is closed and there is nothing to eat. The last meal I had was before 12 hours. Next day breakfast too was horrible. Worth to go to a public hospital than spending so much amount on private hospitals which are really not worth.

This is my 2ed time as a parent at north shore private! And I couldn't be happier with the care from the ICU team of doctors and nurses ! And afterwards on ward 3 North . The nurses were exceptional . I also have to give A xtra special mention to NICK the porter who took me to and from my medical test ! And always with a smile ! It made I big difference to me given how down I was feeling at the time .

It seems unfair there is no option for zero stars. It pains me to give the place any points at all. The Hospital is a live example of what appears to be a complete lack of any procedures and processes and is therefore subject to the staff, who in their varying degrees of ambivalence/incompetence/laziness, wing it by all communicating different views and advice. The team are also un-empowered and can't seem To organise or fix the simplest of things. The best proficiency observed was a pretty impressive ability to nullify any issues as “each case is unique” and point to how it's not their job. If you or a loved one go there, be on full alert and check everything! Things we experienced and observed were: 1) Staff constantly gossiping and visibly grimacing when approached 2) Blazing row between two team members complete with yelling and door slamming. 3) Bathrooms never cleaned or mopped up 4) Fridge was full of black mould 5) Patient was left with no sponge bathing or washing for days 6) Food was inedible and contrary to the regime needed 7) medication needed to be extracted 8) Nursing staff were all unaware of medication regime and relied on scraps of paper. Not sure why we bothered with the admission form 9) Meds were incorrectly charted, prescriptions screwed up, injections forgotten and no general care given. 10) Admin was shambolic with the same forms presented multiple times even though it was sent on email! Overall extremely painful and I am amazed the place has a licence. Needs a full audit or enquiry as we also heard other patients yelling at staff (which we don't endorse) begging to go home. My feelings exactly from a previous review. Why fill out the online forms when you're fed foods that can kill you in 30minutes. Why bother filling out subject 4 and class 8 meds when the way they take them off you is to basically steal them from your personal belongings while off my head of palexia? Pick up your game Ramsay health. I can stay as many nights as I damn well chose on full hospital top cover. 2 nights isn't asking for much. Your nurses attitudes are deplorable. One night I was there a year or so ago only one nurse was on the ward- it wasn't lack of nurses, it was NSPH/Ramsay not prepared for me to put my foot down and say I'm STAYING.
